Toll Brothers closes on acreage


Hacienda Lakes of Naples, LLC,
developer of the master-planned community, announces that Toll Brothers
has closed on 133 acres of land within
the development off Collier Boulevard south of Naples.
The land is to be developed as
Azure at Hacienda Lakes, a new community of 419 single-family and multifamily units. The property, which lies
to the east of Esplanade at Hacienda
Lakes, has been cleared with mass
earthwork in progress in preparation
for installation of utilities.
Hacienda Lakes, a 2,262-acre development of regional impact, lies to
the east of Collier Boulevard and
encompasses lands bordered by Willow Run Quarry to the north and
stretches south of Physicians Regional Medical Center. The project is
permitted to include 1,760 homes;
327,000 square feet of retail space;
70,000 square feet of professional and
medical office space; 135 hotel rooms;
140,000 gross square feet of business
park or educational facility; and a
public school. Hacienda Lakes will
includes more than 1,500 acres of
preserves when its completed.
Neal Communities building Avalon of Naples
Neal Communities has begun construction of what will be the builders
first multifamily carriage home community in Collier County Avalon of
Naples, a 23-acre parcel at the southeast corner of Davis Boulevard and
County Barn Road where it will build
152 homes offering lake and preserve
views. Sales at Avalon will begin in
Fall 2016.
This gated community will feature
19 Coastal-themed buildings with four
floor plans: two first-floor plans with
two bedrooms, two baths and a onecar garage. The two second-floor

The Spectra apartments in south Fort Myers range in size from 700 to 1,307 square feet. There are one, two and three bedroom units with one

Haley Gatins has been sharing a


house with roommates and her dog, but
she really wanted a place of her own,
and a place where she could spend quality time with her hound-mix Natalie.
She finally found that place when
she signed up to be one of the first to
move into Spectra in South Fort Myers.
I am most excited about it for my
dog because it has a dog park in the
neighborhood, Gatins said.
Gatins said it is hard to find apartments in the area because there are not
many of them, and there are even fewer that are new. She said shes excited
about living in a gated community in a
brand new apartment.
It is really especially nice having
something so close to school, added
Gatins, who is a junior forensics major

at Florida Gulf Coast University. I

For Peter Lugo, finding Spectra is
like a dream come true. He is a disabled, retired New York City police officer and a 9-11 rescue worker. Lugo
had been searching for a place that met
his specific needs.
They are helping me, Lugo said.
This is the first one that will supply me
with the option of a walk in shower.
They are helpful for the handicapped
and disabled.
Lugo said Spectra designed his
apartment not only with a walk in shower rather than a tub shower, but they
also put railings in the bathroom for
him.

Lugo is also excited about the dog
park. He said it will make it easier to
walk his mixed hound breed service
dog, Pebbles.
That is the best thing, he said. I
had been going to Buckingham to the
dog park and that is quite a ride. Having
a dog park helps out a lot of people.
Lugo said he plans to use the fitness
center and the on demand classes. He is
also looking forward to walking around
the community and enjoying the scenery.
It is amazing, Lugo exclaimed. I
think it is the place I am going to be for
the rest of my life.
