Company Formation
Tutis Technologies Limited, formerly knows as Amex Information Technologies
Limited was incorporated in September, 1991 as Amex Computers and Services
Private Limited.
Later on in April 1995, the name was changed to Amex Information Technologies
Limited.
Amex Information Technologies Limited, In October 2006, became Tutis Technologies
Limited (Tutis). Tutis is a Latin word and it means Secured.
The name Tutis was prompted as company decided to thrust all its business
development in Biometrics Software and Hardware and all its software products are
already named as Tutis.

History
Tutis was incorporated in September 1991 and the present promoters took over the
company in February 1996.
The present promoters of the company are Mr.G.S.Chandrashekar and Mr.Aniket
Jathar.
Tutis went public thru an initial public offer in August 1999 and it is listed in Bombay
Stock Exchange (scrip code: 532311)

Mr. G. S. Chandrashekhar
Popularly known among his colleagues & business associates as GSC, is a Chartered
Accountant, and has more than 30 years of general management experience and has
been very successful running entire Tutis Group of Companies.
Mr. Aniket Jathar
Aniket is a software professional and has a rich experience of over 24 years on various
technology platforms. He is responsible for Tutis foray into biometrics and the
development of our flagship product, Tutis Biometric Log on Software. He is currently
the Technical Director of Tutis Technologies Limited and is mainly concerned with
Architecting Tutis products and other software related business activities.

Tutis and its subsidiaries are not in complimentary business models and each company

Started in 2001 is in the business of IT Enabled services. With a humble beginning of
3000 sq.ft and 30 employees in the first year, VITL has now grown into a multi faceted 8
million USD ITES company covering 15,000 sq.ft of office area covered in Mumbai and
Chennai, employing 190 personals and working through a channel of 800 contract
employees who cater exclusively to VITLs internal consumption need. VITL has
