If you are a working within industry, government or non-government organizations operating in Alberta - our
professional development courses and our sustainable community and water resource learning modules are
developed specifically for you!
Sustainability Resources is an environmental management company committed to providing Alberta with the tools
needed to manage our natural resources today and tomorrow.
This two-day professional development certificate course is focused on the front end
of the project planning process and takes participants through a complete project
definition and planning cycle as well as an exploration of the implementation and control
cycle. This course is taught with a focus on sustainability issues of watershed
management, sustainable community initiatives, and municipal infrastructure planning.
Creating project charters, deliverable work breakdown structures, sequencing and scheduling methods and their
advantages and uses are covered in detail as are aspects of risk identification and mitigation strategies. Stakeholder
analysis and management are also introduced in the second day.
Participants will gain the confidence and skills they need to present a Project Charter and to use the most important
planning tools to define and organize projects. In addition, participants will be able to clearly communicate their
projects and their project needs to management and key stakeholders in order to obtain approvals and control the
project into the implementation phase.
We currently have room for 10 participants - please note: registrations received prior to June 15th and groups of 3 or
more receive a %10% discount! Register Now!
