Reaccreditation of Political Parties
Promulgated: 5 September 2016
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article II, of the 2016 Electoral Code which recognizes the
students rights to form political parties.
WHEREAS, Ignatian Initiative for Transformative Empowerment (IgnITE) seeks for
their reaccreditation as a political party for the purpose of forwarding timely concerns of the
student body as well as representation in the Sanggunian in line with their ideologies.
WHEREAS, having appropriately finished the process of reaccreditation by submitting all
necessary documents to the Commission within the set period stated in the COMELEC
Memorandum No. 201644.
NOW THEREFORE, after thorough assessment and due deliberation of all submitted
documents and requirements, Ignatian Initiative for Transformative Empowerment
(IgnITE) has been duly reaccredited as an official political party in the Sanggunian.
This document shall take effect immediately subsequent to the promulgation of this
resolution.
