SPECIAL CALLED BUSINESS MEETING

In the meeting, held at the conclusion of Sundays 11:00
AM worship, we considered the proposal by the Deacons to
become an incorporated entity. The final discussion and
vote will be held at our regularly scheduled Quarterly
Conference on Wednesday, September 28.

SAINTS ALIVE
A new year of Saints Alive has started. We will be sharing
special music in the evening service Sunday, September 11.
Were singing Unspeakable Joy Medley. Remember our
goal for enlarging the choir and do your part to make it
happen!
The date the choir has selected to attend the state Festival is
October 6-7. Mark your calendar and signup next Monday
to attend this great event in Toccoa, Ga.

FELLOWSHIP CLUB
Our 2016-2017 Fellowship Club activities begin on
Monday, September 12. Our regularly scheduled meeting
time (the first Monday of the month) happened on the Labor
Day holiday, so weve moved it back one week like we
always do. We have a unique treat awaiting us at noon that
day. The Bells of Allegro will be our guest entertainment.
They are a unique group of ringers from the Allegro Senior
Living Center in Tallahassee, Florida. Their music will
entertain and perhaps inspire some of us to grab a bell and
make a joyful noise with it. Bring a covered dish, bring a
friend, and bring yourself to this great gathering of friends.
Mark your calendar. I mean it. Go get your calendar out and
pencil this in. Really, do it right now, before I forget!
Thanks for your prayers this week while I was out with
pneumonia, and thanks to Hal Burrell for a great job
Sunday.

Family Fun Night- Tailgate Party

Friday, September 9 6 pm
Bring your favorite tailgate food and drink and join us and the
Foundations Sunday School class for a little pre-game fun! We will
meet at Centennial Field's Gold Parking Lot. Then we will all cheer on
the Bearcats as they battle against the Cairo Syrupmakers. (No cost,
tickets and Gold Parking are not included.)

Sunday School

2016-2017
We are still in need of Sunday School teachers. If not you, then who?
Maybe you are called to such a time as this. Please pray.

Temporary Part Time Nursery Worker Needed

The Preschool Committee is searching for a temporary replacement
nursery worker for Sunday and Wednesday Evenings. Qualifications
include submitting a background check, completion of application and
interview, and must be at least 20 years of age. Please take an
application from the office and pass it to anyone who may be interested
in this ministry.

Early & Extended Session

2016-2017
We are on the lookout for individuals and families that will join us as
we serve during our services. We need people for both Early and
Extended and age groups Babies-2s and 3s-5s. If you are willing to
serve, please let me know! My email and cell phone are below.

This past Sunday was truly a great day to be at FBC

The building was packed, the energy in the room was
amazing, and God was present in our worship. Bring
a friend with you again next week as we look forward
to worshiping together again.
September is among us!! We will be back to our
normal schedule for our student worship service.
Supper will begin at 6:00 and worship will begin at
6:50. Make plans to be a part of weekly worship
gathering.
Also, in September is the annual See You At The Pole
event. Students will gather around your schools
flagpole on Wednesday morning September 28th to
pray for your school, city, and nation. We will also
gather that evening as a community to worship
together. Our service on this night will be at the
Bainbridge Church of God located on Independent
Street. This rally will begin at 6:30. So go ahead and
plan to participate in See You At The Pole!!

Blessings,
Jeff
