QUALIFICATION :
B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc Engineering / AMIE from AICTE approved College/Institute or a
recognised University.
First class in the indicated qualification for General and OBC candidates. Pass class for
SC/ST/PWD candidates.

The candidates who have acquired BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering/AMIE, the following

JOB REQUIREMENT:
SR.ENGINEER (CIVIL) :
3-4 years of experience in Project Planning. Site coordination, estimation, execution of
Industrial infrastructure and underground complexes, continuous casting of RCC slabs,
SOIL/ROCK stabilization during excavation, Quality Control Procedure, co-ordination of
Inter-disciplinary activities, billing, exposure to AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
SR.ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL) :
3-4 years of experience in designing of Electrical Power distribution Systems & electrical
works for Industrial applications, which includes selection and integration of HT & LT
switchgear, transformers, DG sets with AMF/ATS, UPS, Automatic fire detection and Alarm
system, Grounding systems, cables, connectors and programmable logic controllers,
preparation and understanding of electrical drawings, estimation of switchgears and control
gears components and execution of electrical installation and commissioning at sites across
India. Dealing and coordination with electrical contractors for execution of works at sites.
METHOD OF SELECTION:
Selection will be through a Written Test followed by an Interview (only for those candidates
who will be shortlisted based on their performance in the written test).

2. Application fee and mode of payment:
A. Candidates belonging to GEN/OBC category are required to deposit the
application fee of Rs.500/-. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from payment
of application fee. The application fee is non refundable. Take a print out of the
enclosed challan form. The application fee can be deposited at any branch of
State Bank of India. The payment of application fee through any other mode
would not be acceptable. Applicants should therefore pay the fee through
downloaded challan form(designated process) only.
B. The Challan has three portions. The first portion is for Bank, second portion is for
Company and the third portion is for Candidate / Applicant. The Candidate has to
fill up the required information in all the three portions and submit the same to
any of the nearest SBI branch across the country along with required fee amount
plus bank charges Rs. 40/-. extra.
C. After making the payment, the Cashier who collect the money will update the

payment in the system and as soon as it is done, the system will generate a unique
transaction number called "Journal Number" . This number has to be written
manually in all the three portions of the Challan by the Cashier. The Bank portion
of challan will be retained by the Cashier and other two portions of the challan
will be returned to the Candidate duly entering the "Journal Number".
D. Candidate should ensure before leaving the Cash Counter that the Journal
Number is entered on the two portions of the challan (Company copy and
Applicant copy) handed over to him / her after the remittance of fee amount. If
the Journal number is not mentioned in the challan, the candidate should insist for
the same and get it entered before leaving the Cash counter.
E. The candidates should retain his copy of the challan. Challan without entry of
Journal Number will not be considered.
3. Candidates have to keep ready the details of Challan, i.e. Journal Number before
filling in and submitting the application format online and verify all information
before submission, as changes shall not be permitted after submission of the
application form.

Candidates need to upload their photograph, signatures and copy of challan on the
portal for final submission.

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and whose online application is accepted are
required to log on to the website and enter their application no. to access and download their
written test call letter. Please note that call letters will NOT be sent through e-mail or through
conventional mail.
All information regarding examination schedule/admit card/interview call letter etc. shall be
available on the website. Responsibility for downloading and printing of the admit card/call
letter shall be that of the candidate. No separate admit cards/interview call letters shall be
sent to the candidates by post.

THE WRITTEN TEST WILL BE TENTATIVELY HELD ON: 21st August, 2016 (Sunday).

(Test Duration: 2 hours | Test Timing: 10:00 12:00 hours)

The written test will be held at 4 (four) test centres only Bangalore, Kolkata, Delhi &
Mumbai.
Candidate has to give 3 (three) choices among the above test centres according to their
preference.
The written test will consist of Objective type questions from respective disciplines and
General Aptitude. The list of candidates short-listed in the written test for interview, will be
uploaded on the website on 30th August, 2016. They will be required to appear for an
interview for final selection. The results of final selection after interview will be available on
the BEL website.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
i)

Only Indian Nationals need apply.

ii)

NOC: Candidates employed in Govt./Quasi-Govt. and Public Sector Undertakings will be


required to produce No Objection Certificate at the time of interview, without which they
will not be allowed to appear for the interview.

iii)

GEN/OBC candidates applying for the above posts are required to upload duly filled
in company copy of Challan bearing the Journal Number.

iv)

Appointment of the selected candidates will be subject to being found medically fit by
the Companys Medical Authorities.

v)

There will be no separate communication to any candidates on their non-selection at


any stage.

vi)

In respect of Persons with Disability, the degree of disability that the candidate should
have, for consideration under the category, will be as prescribed by Government
norms.

vii)

Candidates whose Degree Certificate does not tally with the branch mentioned in the
application / advertisement will not be considered for interview.

viii)

BEL reserves the right to debar you at any stage of the written test / interview
proceedings, if your candidature is not considered suitable for any reason.

ix)

Candidates who are unable to produce their Engineering Degree Marks Card and
Certificate in original on the day of interview for whatever reason will not be
considered. Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.

x)

The admission at all stages of the selection process will be purely provisional. Mere
issue of admit card/interview call letter to the candidate will not imply that his/her
candidature has been cleared by BEL.

SPECIAL NOTE:
Please further ensure that you fulfill all the eligibility criteria (like age, qualification,
experience, category certificate, etc.) as stipulated in our advertisement. If you fail to meet any
of the eligibility criteria as stated in the advertisement for the post, your candidature will be
cancelled and you will not be allowed to appear for the interview. The decision of the
management in this regard would be final. Application fee is non-refundable. Candidates must
go through all instructions and eligibility criteria carefully before remitting Application Fee.
Fee once paid will not be refunded in any case/circumstance.
CANDIDATES SELECTED MAY BE REQUIRED TO STAY AT SITES SPREAD ALL
OVER INDIA TILL COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT, AFTER WHICH THEY MAY
BE DEPUTED TO OTHER PROJECTS ELSEWHERE IN THE COUNTRY.
