JUSTNESS AND SINCERITY

By: Clyde Albarico Cadapan

I assume that all of us have also been a victim of unjust situations and
dishonesty. May it be small or horrendous, being fooled could lead to loss of selfesteem and could develop some trust issues. I, myself experienced such disgrace
several times already. I have been fooled by bogus sellers promising they are
offering good and reliable product. It was years ago, though. I have been more
careful and aware since then.
As a public servant, it is always our obligation to do our job with sincerity and
maintaining the essence of professionalism and work ethics. Observing such virtues
will result in a just and unbiased critical decisions at work. We do not want the
public to lose their trust to us and to our work. We could never have decent job and
pay without them in the first place. In my work as a public servant, I have not yet
experience any situations wherein my honesty is being tested. I have always worked
sincerely and with full honesty ever since. However, I expect that time will come
that my honesty and sincerity will be tested by a situation that is directly related to
my work. My action will be simple and that is not to be tempted and stick to what I
believe is righteous and good. Being absolutely a good person is somewhat
impossible but being absolutely sincere and honest on your work is a very easy one.
That is what I believe and that will be my philosophy until my retirement.
