Operational Notes
The AT-9000 Series switches behave in the following manner:

SFP Configuration - The speed of the AT-SPFX/2 and AT-SPFX/15 modules must be
manually set to 100Mbps with the SPEED command. The following example of the
command configures the speed of the AT-SPFX/2 or AT-SPFX/15 module in slot 1 of an
AT-9000/28SP Switch:
awplus> enable
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# interface port1.0.1
awplus(config-if)# speed 100

IPv6 Management Address - The assignment of an IPv6 management address to the

switch must be performed manually using the IPV6 IPADDRESS command, because the
switch cannot obtain an IPv6 address with stateless auto configuration or from a DHCP6
server. To route IPv6 management traffic, an IPv6 next hop must be manually configured
with the IPV6 ROUTE command.

Web Interface - You cannot use the web browser interface to configure the following
features:
Access control lists
Enhanced stacking
Quality of Service
SNMP
Voice VLANs
Use the command line interface to configure these features.

When IGMP snooping is enabled, multicast UDP packets will not be flooded. If UDP
multicast traffic flooding is required, IGMP snooping must be disabled.

An ACL applied on a port now filters traffic going to the switch management. Previously,
ACLs only filtered through data traffic.

Resolved Issues
Version 2.4.1.7

Temperature that triggers the fan to spin has been lowered on models with a fan module.

In multi-supplicant mode, authentication might not be triggered for a supplicant. This

issue is fixed.

On the AT-9000/28SP v2, after re-inserting an AT-SPSX SFP module, the port does not
link up. This issue is fixed.

On the AT-9000/28SP v2, the AT-SPSX Rev E module on a base port does not link up
after a reboot. This issue is fixed.

Improved PoE functionality.

Version 2.4.1.4

AT-9000/28SP v2 web GUI did not show Spanning Tree status. This issue has been
resolved.

A case where MAC authentication with multiple supplicants did not work. This issue has
been resolved.

Web GUI did not accept username with a dot character in it. This issue has been
resolved.

SSH performance has been improved in this version.

Version 2.4.1.3

Certain AT-9000/28SP versions displayed the incorrect Management Vlan and IP

Address on the dashboard. These fields have been removed from the dashboard and are
available under the Management drop down menu.

Version 2.4.1.2

A case where an ARP entry might not have appeared in ARP table but communication
works. This issue is resolved.

Power-inline max 15440 was not written to running-config. This issue is resolved.

The PoE subsystem microcode has been upgraded to version 1.3.2.

PoE compliance to the IEEE 802.3at standard has been improved.

OpenSSL has been upgraded to version 1.0.1j.

SNMP walk on dot1dTpFdbPort (1.3.6.1.2.1.17.4.3.1.2) error occurred with OID not

increasing: This is resolved.
