It was born with the construction of Clnica y Maternidad Suizo Argentina (Swiss Argentine Clinic and Maternity.)
The undertaking marked a revolutionary concept in technology and quality of care.
This was the groups first investment and initial step towards further undertakings which have placed Swiss Medical Group in a leading
position in this field.
Then, in 1994, our own prepaid healthcare company was set up: Swiss Medical Medicina Privada (Swiss Medical Private Medicine).
Since then, Swiss Medical Medicina Privada has become one of the most important healthcare companies of Argentina providing
health coverage to over 800,000 members.
Today, Swiss Medical Medicina Privada, owner of 7 state-of-the-art clinics, also has 6 outpatient care centers, 5 dental centers in
Buenos Aires and two others in the provinces of Salta and Neuqun, as well as a medical airplane.

Belgrano neighborhood, with Emergency Department on duty 24

16 Intensive Care rooms fully equipped for the treatment of patients with pathologies of high complexity.

Equipment of Therapy Games for pediatric inpatient care.
Emergency Department: with professionals having active presence available 24/7/365 for internal medicine, pediatrics, traumatology and surgery care, diagnosis and treatment. The unit has 5
shock rooms especially equipped for any type of urgency.
Surgery Center: comprises of 5 operating rooms for conducting
minor procedures as well as surgeries of high complexity including
neurosurgery and vascular surgery. The equipment installed allows
for traditional open surgery and laparoscopy approach, as well
as imaging studies and interventions with C-arm follow-up.

After the acquisition of Clnica Olivos we started to refurbish and
modernize the facilities with the aim to reach the same quality of

The clinic comprises of 78 single rooms for general inpatient care
(adults and children) as well as intensive care (adults and children).

Medicine, Gynecology, Pediatrics and Surgery. Plaster room, operating room for sutures in emergency, 4 observation boxes and
4-bed shock room.

As pioneers in this field, in 1984 ECCO set up an Urgent Care and Emergency Service providing home health care which was absolutely
original in the local market and with a high level of excellence. Later, and in order to meet the new demands, ECCO incorporated other
