Integrity is living according to scriptural principles. Its being honest, noble, trustworthy, reliable, acting
honorably, keeping your word. Its acting or speaking with transparency, as if someone you love or respect
is watching what you are doing. Its not speaking negatively about others or gossiping. Its treating others
as you would want them to treat you. Its living an honorable and respectful life.
We are all flawed humans, and no one is perfect, but as believers, we want to do our best to live in
accordance with Gods values, which results in living our lives with integrity.

La integridad es vivir conforme a los

principios de las Escrituras. Es ser honrado,
noble, digno de confianza, confiable,
alguien que acta de manera honorable,
que cumple su palabra. Es actuar o hablar
con transparencia, como si alguien que
uno ama o respeta estuviera observando
lo que hacemos. No hablar negativamente
de otras personas ni contar chismes. Es
tratar a los dems como nos gustara que
nos trataran a nosotros. Es llevar una vida
honorable y respetuosa.
Todos somos humanos con defectos,
nadie es perfecto. Sin embargo, como
creyentes que somos queremos
esforzarnos al mximo a fin de vivir
conforme a los valores divinos, lo que
resulta en que vivamos con integridad.

Making the commitment to live your life with

integrity makes it easier to make good choices when
faced with difficult ones. If you are faced with the
opportunity to take something thats not yours, to
do something you know you shouldnt, to deceive,
to lie, to speak ill of someone, to spread gossip, to
violate an agreement you made, you will have the
moral fiber to choose not to do it even if you are
temptedbecause doing so would violate the
values you have determined to live by.

Comprometerse a vivir con integridad hace que sea

ms fcil tomar buenas decisiones cuando sean
difciles. Si enfrentan la oportunidad de tomar algo
que no les pertenece, hacer algo que saben que no
deberan, engaar, mentir, hablar mal de alguien o
divulgar un chisme, violar un acuerdo que hicieron,
tendrn la fuerza moral para optar por no hacerlo
aunque se vean tentados, porque al hacerlo
violaran los valores por los que han decidido vivir.

What should we do if weve let our

moral standard fall? The good news
is that we can go to the Lord, confess
our sins, ask His forgiveness, and
reconnect with Him and His truth. By
His grace and with His help, and
perhaps the help of others, our lives
can be turned around and we can
rebuild our integrity.

Qu debemos hacer si vemos que

nos hemos relajado con respecto a
las normas morales? La buena
noticia es que podemos acudir al
Seor, confesar nuestros pecados,
pedir Su perdn y reconectarnos con
l y Su verdad. Por Su gracia y con Su
ayuda, y tal vez tambin con la ayuda
de otras personas, nuestra vida
puede cambiar y podemos volver a
generar nuestra integridad.

The sum of your daily decisions is what

makes you what you are. You control your
life, and you are responsible for your
personal decisions and their outcomes.
Living with integrity is a key to a better life,
a better future, and a better eternity.

La suma de las decisiones cotidianas es lo

que nos convierte en las personas que
somos. Controlamos nuestra vida, y somos
responsables de las decisiones que tomamos
y de los resultados de las mismas. Vivir con
integridad es la clave para que nuestra vida,
futuro y eternidad sean mejores.
