RECESSIONAL HYMN:
1. Praise

Him! Praise Him! Jesus, our blessd Redeemer!

Sing, O Earth, His wonderful love proclaim!
Hail Him! hail Him! highest archangels in glory;
Strength and honour give to His holy Name!
Like a shepherd, Jesus will guard His children,
In His arms He carries them all day long:
Refrain: Praise Him! (2) Tell of His excellent greatness.
Praise Him! (2) Ever in joyful song!
2. Praise Him! Praise Him! Jesus, our blessd Redeemer!
For our sins He suffered, and bled, and died.
He our Rock, our hope of eternal salvation,
Hail Him! hail Him! Jesus the Crucified.
Sound His praises! Jesus who bore our sorrows,
Love unbounded, wonderful, deep and strong. Refrain
Him! Praise Him! Jesus, our blessd Redeemer!
Heavenly portals loud with hosannas ring!
Jesus, Saviour, reigneth forever and ever.
Crown Him! Crown Him! Prophet, and Priest, and King!
Christ is coming! over the world victorious,
Power and glory unto the Lord belong.

INTROIT (choir):

A safe stronghold our God is still,

a trusty shield and weapon;
Hell keep us clear from all the ill
that hath us now oertaken.
The ancient prince of hell
hath risen with purpose fell;
strong mail of craft and power
he weareth in this hour;
On earth is not his fellow. MARTIN LUTHER, 1483 - 1546

~~~ W e l c o m e ~~~
St Thomas Cathedral has been a place of Christian worship since 1718.
The Cathedral is the Mother Church of the Church of North Indias Diocese of Mumbai.
Situated in the heart of the city, we are open through the week (7 A.M. to 6 P.M.)
offering worshippers and visitors alike an oasis of peace and quiet.
Jesus said to Thomas, Stop doubting and believe.
Our hope and daily prayer is that all who come to see this beautiful Cathedral and
share in our worship may be strengthened in their faith.
Let us then like, Thomas, joyfully exclaim, My Lord and my God! (JOHN 20: 28)
Please switch off all electronic devices.
Join us for fellowship in the porch after the Service.
Gather us together this Reformation Sunday, O God, that we may
celebrate the witness of our forefathers and the courage that gave birth
to the Reformation. Teach us how to honour the saints of God in ages
