EME-30 & EME-31
Prevents paint failure and corrosion
problems. A lined u-bolt eliminates corrosion problems
between steel u-bolt and pipe and thus saves your piping
systems and extends lifetime. Also noise and vibration
reduction capabilities.
Justification of initial expense of these lined u-bolts

lies with the life cycle cost; having to repair or replace
piping after a few years is very expensive.
Fields of application. For galvanised and SS pipes.

Types. Grip type EME-30 and Guide (with Teflon surface)

Materials
Steel type: Stock items are S235JRG2 for M10 to M20
Finish: Hot dip galvanised (M6 is self coloured SS316)
Lining materials: Eslin for -30 up to +100 oC.
Also available in materials suitable for -80 up to +300 oC
Eslin lining material is seamless vulcanised to steel u-bolt
EPDM backing pad 10 mm thickness

EME-A & EME-A-PT
Prevents
corrosion
problems
and
cracking of GRE/GRP pipes. The clamp Lining
eliminates corrosion problems due to electro-lytic action
between dissimilar metals of pipe and pipe clamp. Due to
larger contact surface with the pipe than u-bolts, the ustrap is better suitable for higher loads. The clamp lining
prevents cracking of the GRE/GRP pipe during installation,
also see EME-AG and EME-AG-PT datasheets for u-straps
supplied with wear saddle type EME-WP

INSULATED U-STRAP for GRE/GRP

EME-AGR & EME-AGR-PT (+100 0C)
Prevents cracking of GRE/GRP pipes.
Due to larger contact surface with the pipe than ubolts, the u-strap is better suitable for higher loads.
The clamp lining prevents cracking of the GRE/GRP
pipe during installation and it is supplied with a
GRE/GRP wear pad (see separate datasheet EME-WP)
