CeProSARD changes offices location
CeProSARD changed offices location on new address:
St. 1550 Nr. 8a ; Vizbegovo, 1000 Skopje
The offices are located on the second floor in the administrative building of Goldiren DOO Skopje.
The existing mobile numbers of the employees, their personal email addresses and the email address of the organization
info@ceprosard.org.mk are still available.

Construction of infrastructure facilities in


Brvenica and Makedonski Brod, for better rural
development of the municipalities
For the implementation of the Municipal Services
Improvement Project (MSIP), funded by the International
Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD),
CeProSARD:
- visited the municipality of Brvenica and held meetings with
the Major and focus groups consisted of citizens and
councilors. The aim of these meetings was the preparation of
a feasibility study for construction of a new elementary school
in the municipality, with implemented energy efficiency
measures and regulations, as well as construction of a local
road that will connect the village of Miletino and the village of
Chelopek.
- made an evaluation of the projects Construction of the local
road between the village of Zagrad and the village of Volche
and Reconstruction of the local road between the village of
Zvecan and the regional road -1106 (104). The project
assumes construction of the local roads in the secondary road
infrastructural network in the municipality. The
implementation of this project will ensure development of the
area and the local economy.

Rural tourism and hospitality - an opportunity for


rural development in the Polog Planning Region
For the needs of the Center for Development of
the Polog Planning Region CDPPR, CeProSARD started
with preparation of the Register of potential for rural
tourism of the Polog Planning Region. The Register is
prepared within the project Innovative solutions for
better access to services on local level implemented by
UNDP in cooperation with the Ministry of Local SelfGovernment. The aim of this project is to allow the
Ministry to improve the capacities in promoting local
management towards the citizens.

Improved energy efficiency of buildings and facilities


in the municipalities of Lipkovo and Cair
The expert team of CeProSARD prepared a feasibility study for reconstruction of four schools in
the municipality of Lipkovo, with improved energy efficiency. With the reconstruction of the schools in
the village of Matejche, the village of Otlja, the village of Slupcane and the village of Opae, the energy
efficiency, the functionality and the hygiene in the facilities will be improved. Applying these measures
for improvement of the energy performances of the facilities, will increase their energy efficiency, and
this will provide better comfort to users. This action of the public sector in the municipality will make a
positive example for the usage of energy efficiency practices in the commercial and residential sector in
Lipkovo.
In the last period, CeProSARD also worked on improving the energy efficiency of residential building for
collective housing in the municipality of Cair. The materials used in the reconstruction corresponded to
the quality necessary for energy efficiency improvement of the building. The waste was properly
removed and disposed in accordance with the environmental regulations.

CeProSARD actively follows the activities in the field


of environmental protection
Representatives from CeProSARD attended the
session Review of the EU climate package and EU energy
and climate policies, which was held by the civil society
organization Milieukontakt Macedonia. The session took
place from 17-19 of June in hotel Romantique - Veles. The
session contributed for better understanding of the current
situation in this area and exchanging experience among
other civil society organizations that participated on this
session.

Gender policy in the Western Balkans


A representative from CeProSARD, Liljana
Buckovska attended the Conference on Gender Policy
implementation, held by the Swedish International
Centre for Local Democracy (ICLD). The aim was to
present the results of the research The Politics of
Pseudomonas Actions - Local Governance and Gender
Policy Implementation in the Western Balkans, as
well as to bring together practitioners and researchers
to discuss the results and strategies to ensure that the
UN`s sustainability goal No. 5, on Gender equality, are
also implemented at local level.
The conference was attended by participants from
several countries: Macedonia, Serbia, Ukraine,
Georgia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and others. The
representatives of the above-mentioned countries
presented their project applications on various topics
from gender equality and discussed the opportunities
and challenges for its implementation.
