This state is not what we consider the world's largest. Moreover, it is the
second smallest country (after Rhode Island), with an area of
approximately 5060 square kilometers. As previously mentioned,
Delaware is surrounded by Pennsylvania to the north; by the Delaware
River, Delaware Bay, New Jersey and the Atlantic Ocean to the east; and
south and west by Maryland.
Considered a rather surprising fact, there are portions of the state across
the river, sharing land with New Jersey. Delaware, along with the eastern
coastal Maryland and two counties of Virginia, form the Delmarva
Peninsula.
Delaware is home to several festivals, fairs and special events, the most
popular being the Riverfest held in Seaford, the Chocolate Festival in
Rehoboth Beach, the Apple Festival in Bridgeville, the Jazz Festival,
Parade and Sea Festival Halloween Witch and Independent Film Festival
in Rehoboth, the Nanticoke Indian Pow Wow in Oak Orchard and Return
Day Festival is celebrated in Georgetown after each gubernatorial
election.
Now you know, in Delaware can spend a nice vacation, and possibly
return more than once to visit him.
