We make it a priority to understand the unique concerns of families living
with Primary Immunodeficiency Disorders (PIDDs). With more than 40 years
of experience in diagnosing and treating patients with PIDDs, our team offers
a valuable combination of clinical and laboratory expertise:
Internationally renowned clinical immunologists We specialize in caring
for patients with unusual and complex medical problems. Our physicianresearchers are leading advances to continually develop new protocols
and treatments for PIDDs.
Immunodeficiency Diagnostic Laboratory One of only a few labs in the
country that offer gene testing, protein testing and functional testing of
the immune system focused on comprehensive evaluation and accurate
diagnosis of PIDDs.
A full range of transplant options In partnership with internationally
renowned Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, we offer a wide array
of transplant approaches for both adult and pediatric patients in various
stages of disease.
Treating the whole family Often PIDDs are passed down through several
generations. We serve children, parents and grandparents in our clinic, building
on a foundation of knowledge to improve long-term treatment of the disease.

Comprehensive Services, Essential Support

In addition to internationally acclaimed immunologists, our team includes
specialists in transplantation, hematology, infectious disease, nephrology,
gastroenterology, occupational and physical therapy, Child Life, social work
and nutrition. Team members work in close collaboration to ensure your
family receives personalized care that meets all of your needs from
clinic visits to keeping up with homework. Services include:
Dedicated unit for immunocompromised patients
Schooling for patients and their siblings through Childrens School
Services and the Hutch School, allowing families to stay together
during extended treatments
Housing assistance for short- or long-term stays
Working with primary care providers so patients can return home
as soon as possible and still continue treatment
Financial counseling and support so families can focus on healing
Support groups for patients and families living with these syndromes

We advocate for patients and families by participating actively with patient
organizations such as the Immune Deficiency Foundation and the Jeffrey
Modell Foundation to increase awareness of the special needs of people
