Chapter I.

Executive Summary
Monkey Art creative envisions itself as being one of the best producers of Bicol, free or random
shirts in Naga first and expanding towards national and International markets, Monkey Art
Creatives will use its Goals and Objectives as a basis for motivating its business state, Monkey
Art Creatives will be managed by John Arvin Reola, it will also coordinate with local organization,
from Governments to private establishments, it will also take advantage of existing social media
mediums, such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Red Bubble and other sites that help
promote the products that Monkey Art Creatives offers for its customers, shirts, printed shirts will
be the main and first product that Monkey Art Creatives, but monkey Art Creatives will not stop
there, it will also venture onto mugs, lanyards, bags, wallets, phone cases, cloth bags and other
items that can be personalized, shirt printing and designing styles will vary, from screen printing
to heat press printing, to direct methods such as using laundry pens and textile paint, shirt dying
will also be ventured so that the customers favorability will be followed and customer satisfaction
can be achieved. Monkey Art creative will take different steps so that it can find innovative ways
of design. Exposure to different forms of Art is a must so that Monkey Art Creatives can have its
competitive advantage over its competitors. It will deliver its products using businesses that deliver
packages over the country and overseas, a main branch will be established on Rodson Building
near University of Nueva Caceres, Competition will be a basis and factor for of improvements so
that Monkey Art Creatives uses to stay on top. Monkey Art Creatives will continue to strive for
its improvement and for its development in the business world. This business plan will be the
foundation of a new player in the global market. The business will start at a given capital of
P125,970.00 resulting to the net sales of a grand total of P239, 580.00 in the last semester of s/y
2015-2016. The return of investment will be 4-5 months or the first semester based on the Financial
plans.

Chapter II

Vision and Mission


This chapter provides information about the present situation of the product, its vision and
mission statements, the short and long term goals, and its specific objectives.

Present Situation
Fashion in simple sense is the creativity applied to something, for example clothes, music
accessories etc. Fashion is also used as a form of self-expression.
Filipinos are interested in Fashion because of the cultural effects that it gives to people and
how it affects the current social state in an area, and because of that customers tend to label
themselves with something they wear. Besides the practicality of it, which is protection
from the elements, customers wear something because it gives them a certain appeal and
uniqueness from other people.
A new form of developing Fashion came out not so long ago these was designs which are
now digitally made and imprinted into shirts and other objects, so the flexibility of design
was now recognized and thus the entrance if graphic designs came which started a trend
of personalizing different products, ranging from Fashion, to utensils, accessories, stickers,
etc.
In Bicol there are a number if already existing business and online businesses that function
and cater for the demands of customers that are already presents customers. But theyre
still unsatisfied need since most of what people wear is already existing in the market and
are obliged to choose but Customers are not able to really have what they want, so that is

the point of Monkey Art Creatives, to offer not only flexible designs from typography,
random prints, patterns shirts and dyed shirts, but also to limit the number of people who
have the similar design.
Monkey Art Creatives name came from the thought of the animal which is characterized
as playful, witty, and fun, so it is an overall representation of the kind of designs Monkey
Art Creatives aim for.
Having current resources provided by VSR, a present business in the market that provides
personalization of items and printing of different products, plus the Managers skills, on
digital manipulation, and a little background on fine Arts, Monkey Art Creatives, can
already have a guiding ladder for it to develop and start as an independent business.
The reason why Monkey Art Creatives was established, is because of the present demand
and also the interest of the owner in designing. The owner also sees that his family
background on business will help as Monkey Art Creative develop, the thought of opening
this business will be a good way for the owner to experience the thrills and hurdles of
business.

Vision
Monkey Art Creatives envisions itself to be a leading producer of high quality products
that will cater the needs of its customers from all walks of life, it forsees itself that it will
expand not only locally and nationally but also internationally.

Mission
Monkey Art Creatives is an enterprise that will provide unique and desirable products that
will support the flexibility of designs that will satisfy its customers needs, Monkey Art
Creatives will look for renewable raw materials like fabrics that are naturally made, and
also other supplies like biodegradable ink, Monkey Art Creatives will make its customers
a priority in its processes and keep proper business to client relationships.

Short term goals


1. To successfully introduce the product that Monkey Art Creatives provides in the
market.
2. Provide customer satisfaction through different products.
3. Attract new customers and maintain good relationships with existing customers all
throughout the existence of the business.
4. Recover initial capital from the business within one year of operation
5. Pay for any debt the business needed during the start of the business.

Long term goals


1. Monkey Art Creative aims to be a top brand that personalizes different items that it
offers
2. Give employment to the community it caters
3. Develop new product and designs that will captivate customers
4. Help the Philippine Fashion industry
5. Help customers have a personalized products that satisfies their need

Objectives
Within four months Monkey Art Creatives aims to launch itself publicly and online so
that it will be fully opened in the market. This will help its development and introduction.
It will have over 20 stationary designs for customers to choose from and also it aims to
gain recognition of its flexibility for designs.

Start the business in the school year 2014 and onwards

Continue developing designs that appeal to the customers, by basing them on the
current perceived trends of customers, it will be a main focus on research and
development

Develop two or more products in a span of 5 months.

Continue training in using different mediums of design

Gain increase in sales of 15% and increase production as the demand needs it,

This chapter provides information about the location of the business, name, nature, its
management team and alliances.

Legal business description


Monkey Art Creatives will be registered as a sole proprietorship business, under the name
John Arvin R. Reola, Sole proprietorship type is chosen by the owner due to the easy process
of registering in the DTI, though Monkey Art Creatives will be managed by one person, and
there will be present hindrances, such as manpower, effectivity, efficiency, financial
capability, and flexibility, but there are also available advantages present, profit is directly
given to the owner, likewise definite control, and all decision making will come from the
owner and will easily be made.

Monkey Art Creatives will have John Arvin Reola as the General Manager with its 3 sub
categories (Financial, Marketing, and Production Manager), and also the Lead Designer
for the designs that will be used during the operations.

its products, Association of Bicol Business Students will be a venue of new markets like other
IGPs that can be co-partners in developing the products that will help the development of the

-Ronrox corp. will be one of the suppliers of Monkey Art Creatives when it comes to
inks, different paper types and also the equipments.
BigPix Philippines
-Bigpix corp, will also be another supplier of raw materials which will be used by Monkey Art
Creatives.
Get Blued Shirts
-consignments can be secured so that Monkey Art Creatives can be helped.
Cotton city
-is a local supplier of garments in Naga, it will be easy access for quality raw materials

Chapter IV

Product strategy
This chapter provides information about the product that would be offered by the
enterprise. It will discuss about the research and development that the enterprise would undergo
as well as its production and delivery process.

Product
Monkey Art Creatives will start by selling clothing with appealing, random designs, like
Doodles, and statement shirts with objects and typographies, each production of designed
shirts will be limited to five prints, so that to preserve the uniqueness of designs offered by
Monkey Art Creatives.
The Products will be offered by different varaities like, tees, tank tops, sweatshirts
etc.(types of printable garments) and after 3 months it will now fully promote the flexibility
if designs for customers so that customers will be able to get the value of what they pay
for.
The products will be made, by the following:

A.)HEAT PRESS
Where a design will be created on paper or on the computer then edited digitally
so that it will be more presentable, and after the design phase, it will be printed on
transfer paper, where it will be placed on top of the shirt of choice of the customer, then it
will be pressed on the heat press so that the design can be transferred to the Shirt or any
other fabric that will be used.

B.)SILK SCREEN
First you have to design for the print that you are going to use, then using a knife
or cutter, you need to cut out the colored parts of the design on the stencil, then
setting it from top to bottom, silk screen then, stencil, then the fabric or paper you
are going to use, then using a spoon of any kind, you will be putting some paint
inside the silk screen and by using the squeegee you will spread the paint on the
screen, after that you will lift the screen and the stencil. For fabrics another step
must be added, it will also be pressed again so that the paint will be sealed on the
shirt, and the shirt will become washable.

C.)DIRECT
This can only be done for some designs where the process will only include the
use of laundry markers, First is to generate the design then second is to draw it on the
fabric.

The cartoon design signifies as the logo of Monkey Art Creatives, and the
packaging which will be used is an A4 size vertical Brown envelop, with a hole at the
front to display a part of the design.

Price
The price of printed shirts, will range from P300-600 depending from the complexity of
designs, and a base price of 700 will be used for designs that are going to be printed
once, these prices will entail that the quality will be preserved and also the contract of
uniqueness will be followed.
The prices of 400-600 has been considered because of the quality of materials that will be
used when making the product and also the limit of copies per designs, and the other
price of personalization of shirts will be higher due to the price of uniqueness where it
will be somewhat a royalty of the product because it has no copies.
There will also be shirts that are much more affordable, with prices ranging from P399
and below.

Place
The product is always available at the IGP cafeteria and was also showcased at the trade
fairs such as Bishop Gainza Trade Fair, packaging and labelling will also be done in the
Entrepreneurship building inside Ateneo de Naga University. Bicol Business Week and
Allied Business Courses week are trade fair events that Monkey Art Creatives can join to
show and sell its line of products.

Promotion
The Business will promote its products via social media, like Instagram, Facebook,
Twitter, Redbubble, Pinterest and an email account can be used to reach the customers
effectively, and future business cards will be made to be given to prospective customers.

Research and Development


As Monkey Art Creatives develops through its business processes, it will create a new line
of products for its customers, it will upgrade in mass production of simple designs, but also
maintain its signature customizations, so that the value perception of its products will
increase, it will also develop into accessories production like wallets, notebook covers and
much more, and another form would be canvas printing

Market analysis
This chapter provides information about the product, the target market, customer profile,
competition, demand and supply analysis, and the risks involved in the business.

Market Definition
Monkey Art Creatives will focus on its customers who are students but will not limit its
services to students in schools that is why it will promote customization so that it can
broaden its market and not be boxed with one market only.

Customer Profile
Monkey Art Creative's will continue to create new designs such as new statement and
doodles shirts from the customers and business, to make a special customization of
product. The business will serve as product and service, because Monkey Art Creative's
will produce a special design where the customers have an option whether they choose
from the owners design or they provide and submit their own designs to be edited and
printed. The business will also guarantee the empowerment of customers in choosing to be
unique. In addition, to forsee the customers needs and wants, it will be a big help for the
Monkeys Art Creative's in searching and understanding the current trends and to assess the
products that will gain the trust that it is aiming for. It will also produce an authentic

creative ideas for the business to be known, and to introduce the products to gain rapid
market share.
Monkey Art Creatives will target those customers ranging 14 to 24 years old. Since the
primary market of the business are students inside Ateneo de Naga University, a study is
done to get accurate information about these potential customers.
Students
These are the people who are vain on buying shirt because clothing is one of the basic
needs of people. For Ateneans they pursue on buying unique tees or branded one. But,
based on observations, most of common people, will aim for the uniqueness at the same
time cheap because nowadays, people tend to be more practical than ever due to economic
situation in the Philippines.

Competition
-

Competition is a good factor when you start up a business due to the fact that they will
either aid you and drive to be better at what you are doing or, it will cripple you and stop
your business, and in the present state of starting a business competition will be hard and
due to that as an entrepreneur one must be able to be flexible and be unique and innovate
in developing his/her products.

In the current state of Monkey Art Creatives, I can say that direct competitors, filtering out
present and large businesses like Bench, Penshoppe, and other national clothing brands, I
found out that businesses like Owsam shop, Threesixtie shop and also Doodle punk, are
relatively similar businesses that are already operating, Owsam shop shirts have already
been present for a good number of years, where in threesixtie shop has already been present
for three years and is still growing, and for Doodle punk shirts they have already been

present in the past few years, and analyzing how they have been growing we can really say
that they are in a market where it is profitable and expanding, and with reflecting on how
people react to the current knowledge that they have over this present businesses, we can
see that the market is not yet saturated and there is still a demand for products.

With the current competition that Monkey Art Creatives has, we can say that with a twist
like personalization and also a unique brand of design we can say there is a possibility that
it can overcome its competitors.

Therefor there is still a demand in the market, and it means another business that offers the same
product with something different can still have a share, and can satisfy its market.

Risk
The present problems that are going to be encountered by Monkey Art Creatives are,
obsolete designs, and of course the steep level of competitors that are already in the market,
the number of different types of t-shirts available in the market, and problems with
financing the business is also a problem which is inevitable and also about product
awareness.
The risks that the business encounters are already part on how it will grow and with those
problems, we can see that it can be easily remedied by outsourcing designs, by researching
new fashionable ideas, it can help the business elevate the way it conceptualize its designs,
competitors are already present, so product diversification is a must so that the business
can be distinguished from other brands, financing can be alleviated by allocating resources
from people who are related to the owner and also financial agencies are present, and with
proper promotion for the product we can increase the publicity of the brand to the people.

Chapter VI

Marketing plan
The chapter includes information about the product, place, price and promotion of the
business. It discuss about how it will be offered, sell, distributed, who are the target market,
advertising, and how the company will build its relationship to its customers.
Sales Strategies
Monkey Art Creatives will tag up with other businesses like skate shops such as
Phikshop, and co-promote with other business that are present in the market, businesses
like accessories so that partnership can be formed and promotion can be a success, it will
also coordinate with Getblued shirts inside Ateneo de Naga and also the IGP cafeteria so
that it can consign its products for display, it will also make contests in the social media
pages that will give off free shirts, but it will be a way so that it can promote its product in
a wider section, because social media is one good way of promoting a product.
Distribution channel
As stated on the sales strategies, consignments inside and outside Ateneo de Naga
University are main ways on how Monkey Art Creatives can promote its products to
people, Monkey Art Creatives as of now is also looking for a prime location to open up its
place so that it can have a base shop where it can sell an transact with customers.

Advertising & Promotion


Monkey Art Creatives can promote its products in regular ways, like posting on social
media sites, contests, posters can also be printed so that an publicity for the product can be
created, Monkey Art Creatives can also be included in fashion shows, so that it can be
represented properly by other people, it can also tie up with other products from the market
that can reciprocate development for both the products.

Public relations
Monkey Art Creatives will promote good customer relationships because with good CS
customers will be enticed to transact with the business again, because if the customers see
that the business is good and will be satisfied when they do business with Monkey Art
Creatives, They will be enticed to transact with the business again.
A good way on how Monkey Art Creatives will maintain good relationships with
customers is by being flexible on how it provides services, also by being accommodating
when customers inquire about products, it will also put up a customer contact, via social
media sites and also a cellphone number so that there will be no reason for customers not
to fell unentertained by the business.

Conclusion
Entering the business world is hard and the risks are great and though we can never
say what will happen if we venture in this business or choose this product, as
entrepreneurs we are challenged to fight for the development of the country, we as
entrepreneurs are supposed to be able to defend and help other people to grow
economically.
Based on the financial statement we can say that in a couple of months Monkey Art
Creatives can reclaim its capital, and with that it can develop into more products and
employ more people, the development of the business will rely on how the customers
react on the products it offers, Monkey Art Creatives will also promote its place like
Bicol and also help promote the school, Ateneo de Naga University, Monkey art
Creatives will provide flexibility in different aspects of its designs.
Monkey Art Creatives will use all aspects in promoting and developing its customer
relationships, with good promos and also by good quality service, Monkey Art
Creatives will find alternative raw materials that help promote local products from
abaca and water lily fabrics, and other native resources.
Monkey Art Creatives will be a social enterprise that promotes good business, good
communities and good relationships with people. The business will start at a given

On the first month of 2015, it was different when it came to the sales that Monkey art Creatives,
received. It was a different year for MAC to improve in the aspects it lacked during the previous
year. Also it has experience the largest number of sales for the whole sem, which is a good
reflection that the business is operating properly and is not being directed into bankruptcy it is
also with the openness of the business to the new forms of making products, it has concluded that
it is indeed a good way in the process of making a new efforts in the procedures of Monkey Art
Creatives. Monkey art creative will now focus in making a new product that will satisfy the need
of the new customers it needs its services. It will also attend to new markets, and seminars that
can improve the quality of service it gives.
