1. O calmed (t.mn, quadrilitteral) soul, return to your Master, being pleased and pleasing, and enter
among my servants, and enter my paradise (Al-Fajr 89:27-30).

2. Are not the friends of God (thus): no fear upon them and they are not sad? Those who believed
and feared (God) [wqy]; they have the good news in this life and in the hereafter (Junus 10:62-64a).

3. And they will not cease fighting you until they turn you from your religion if they are able (t.w); and
whoever of you apostasizes from his religion, let him die while he is an unbeliever. (Al-Baqara 2:217b).

4. Spend for charity from what we have provided you before death comes to one of you , and he
will say, Master if only you would delay for me for a short while I will be among the pious; but
God gives no soul a delay when the appointed time has come, and God is informed about what you
do (Al-Munafiqun 63:10-11).



5. Say (= Know): The death from which you are fleeing will encounter you; then you will be
returned to the One who knows what is unseen and what seen (witnessed), and He will announce to
you what you used to do (Al-Jumua 62:8).

6. These are verses of the book and a Quran that makes (things) clear; perhaps those who disbelieved will
wish they had been submissive (Moslems); let them (wr, imperative) eat and enjoy. . . but they will learn;
and we did not destroy a population unless there was a known decree for it (Al-Hijr 15:1-4).

7. And when you recite the Quran seek protection ( w, X) with God from the accursed Satan. He
has no power over those who believe who trust in their Master (An-Naml 16:98-99).

8. My punishment, I afflict (s.wb, IV) whomever I will with it, and my mercy encompasses every
thing, so I will decree it for those who are religious (wqy VIII) and give alms, and those who
believe in our signs / verses (Al-Araf 7:156b).

9. We sent a revelation to the mother of Moses, Suckle him, and when you are afraid for him cast
him into the sea and do not fear and do not be sad. We will return him (ptc. pl. const. + suf.) to you
and make him one of the Messengers. . . . So we restored him to his mother in order that she might
rejoice (lit. her eye might be cool) and not grieve, and learn that the promise of God is truth, but
most of the people do not understand. And when he reached maturity and was grown (swy) we gave
him wisdom; so thus we reward those who do good (Al-Qasas 28:7, 13-14).

10. It was We who sent down the Torah; in it is guidance and light; the prophets who surrendered to it
judged with it those who practiced Judasim; and the rabbis (nom.) and the scholars (nom.) (judged)
according to what they were entrusted from the book of God, and they were witnesses concerning it; and
whoever does not judge according to what God has sent down are the unbelievers (Al-Maida 5:44).

1. When a mans appointed time has come, he gives up hope of life and is made to perish; but they
sorrow not over him, for he will be sent forth at the day of resurrection.
