Explanation: Android Nougat is the
nickname of the latest version of
Googles famous Android mobile
operating system. This announcement
was made by Google on 30 June
2016. Nougat will be the newest

Marshmallow.
Nougat is based after a popular
dessert which originated in Europe.
Every Android version has been

billion.
The reported price tag for the deal is

The deal would thus seal the fate of

speculation and pressure from
investors.
Yahoo was originally created as a
directory of websites by Stanford
graduates Jerry Yang and David Filo in
1995. Then it quickly got into search,
email, shopping and news before
losing its way to the likes of Google
and Facebook.
The deal will add Yahoo and its
millions of daily users to Verizons
growing stable of media properties.
Verizon is expected to merge Yahoo
with AOL, to create a digital group
capable of taking on the likes of
Google and Facebook.
It is also likely to end the reign of
