smart people (c ch th nn), The sound from the kite
(ting so diu) . Through these students will have
chances to learn new vocabulary, new grammatical
points, how to write a longer paragraph as well as
review the phonic.
Chinese
Music
In Music, students will be discovering and discussing
the impact and effects that migration has had on Music,
dance and instruments around the world.
They will learn dances from other countries and cultures
and investigate the history and development of the
ukulele focusing on the Music Elements of Duration
(keeping a steady beat0 and Timbre (sound of the
instrument and/or voices) culminating in a performance
in front of their peers and teachers.
Physical Education
During the second unit of inquiry, students in Physical
Education will be involved in a variety of striking and
fielding games. The focus will be on participating in a
variety of roles within these games and the safe use of
equipment. Players will further refine the skills of striking,
catching and throwing, while beginning to develop an
understanding of strategies relating to striking and
fielding games.
