VISION STATEMENT

As

consecrated

persons

we

contemplate

the

Incarnation of Christ and courageously respond to


the prophetic call of our times in the milieu in which
we live.

We commit ourselves to give collective

witness to the joy and unity of the Gospel, to serve


the marginalized and to protect mother earth.

PRIORITY I: Prophetic call of the FMM


Contemplate the Incarnation of Christ and be rooted in FMM
Charism and Spirituality.
LINES OF ACTION:
1 Intensify our prayer life by contemplating the Mystery of the Incarnation.
We do this by:
Taking time to read and meditate on the Word of God.
Making use of Fr. Gerry Lobos input for 2015 Provincial Chapter and Fr. S.J. Antonysamys input in
preparation for 2007 Provincial Chapter for monthly recollections.
Responsible: Individual and community
2 Read the articles of the Constitutions during Holy Hour on Thursdays.
Responsible: Liturgist of the day
3 Read and pray with the texts from the writings of Mary of the Passion during community prayers.
Responsible: Liturgist of the day
4 To help us encounter Mary of the Passion, make use of the books and guidelines that will be given by the
province.
Responsible: sister in-charge of Ongoing Formation, individual and community
Evaluation: Annual
5 Live the values of self-emptying, humility, simplicity, availability, approachability and poverty in all our
dealings.
Responsible: Individual
Evaluation: For points 1, 2, 3and 5: once in 6 months

PRIORITY II: Prophetic call of the FMM


Nurture and Affirm Life in community.
LINES OF ACTION:
1 Show concern and respect for elderly sisters by listening to them, nurture them and value their experiences.
Responsible: Individual
2 Accept and care for one another with our gifts and limitations and give a joyful witness.
Responsible: Individual and Community
3 Accompany one another in community and in mission by affirming, encouraging, and upholding one another
with a positive outlook.
Responsible: Individual and community
4 Make forgiveness and reconciliation a way of life and bless one another.
Responsible: Individual and Community
Evaluation: Once in 6 months
PRIORITY III: Prophetic call of the FMM
To be a presence of compassion and joy with the poor,
vulnerable groups and creation.
LINES OF ACTION:
1 Guide families to grow in Christian faith, especially concentrating on the children of our schools.
Responsible: Individual and community

2 Organise the family visits in the neighbourhood and Anbiams in a systematic way and identify the broken
families and respond to their needs, taking help from people of good will.
Responsible: Sr. Cecilia Arockiasamy and community
3 Give awareness programme in schools on Ecology and say NO to plastic.
Responsible: Sisters involved in Education Ministry
4 Make JPIC a way of life by:
- being just in all our dealings
- being careful with the use of electricity and water
- cultivating a herbal garden
Responsible: Individual, community and Eco Club of Higher Secondary School.
Evaluation: Once in 6 months
PRIORITY IV: Prophetic call of the FMM
Formation (Vocation Promotion, Initial and On-going Formation)
LINES OF ACTION:
1 Accompany the youth in our schools.
Responsible: Sisters involved in Education
2 Vocation Promotion is the responsibility of each sister in the community.
Responsible: Individual and community
3 One day annual get-together for 9th and 11th standard Catholic students.
Responsible: Sisters in schools, vocation promoters and community

4 Ongoing Formation is a personal responsibility. So keep oneself up-to-date with Institute publications and
avail oneself of renewal programmmes periodically.

5 Relive joyfully the meaning and richness of the values of the vows in todays context.
Responsible: Individual and community

PRIORITY V: Prophetic call of the FMM
Planning, collaboration and networking for transformation
LINES OF ACTION:
1 Give witness to healthy team work within the same institution and with other institutions in the same
campus.
Responsible: sisters involved in different works in the campus
2 Train AFMM to collaborate in our mission.
Responsible: Sr. Mary Rose, Rita Swamikannu and Jackuline
Evaluation: Annual

Rising: 05.00 a.m.
Meditation (Personal): 05.30 a.m.
Morning Prayer: 06.00 a.m.
Eucharistic celebration: 06.30 a.m.
Adoration: Soon after the Eucharist till 10.30 a.m.
Lunch: 12.30 p.m.
Monday: Evening Prayer: 06.30 p.m. followed by group meditation till 07.30 p.m.
Tuesday: Evening: Family visits
Wednesday: 06.15 p.m. Evening Prayer followed by community meeting
Thursday: 06.00 to 07.00 pm.: Holy Hour
07.00: Supper followed by recreation
First Thursday: 06.30 t0 07.30 p.m. Community Holy Hour and adoration personal adoration
continues till 09.00 p.m.
Friday: Reading of Biography of Bl. Mary of the Passion in two groups
Saturday: 06.30 p.m.: Evening Prayer and Gospel Sharing
1st Sunday: Recollection
Other Sundays: Sisters go for different parish masses and distribute communion
09.00 am. to 11.00 a.m. Adoration
12.00 noon: Midday Prayer
Evening: Anbiam meetings
One sister goes for childrens Mass and Catechism teaching in the parish every Sunday morning.
Annual Retreat: During September holidays.
