Conduct whole work of the project by using expertise of advisory,
monitoring and controlling with reference to accomplish the task
such as;
> Attend for progress meeting.
> Cost monitoring for project budget.
> >Ensure all work according to specifications

Manage consultancy for UiTM Rembau Project Development, the
project schedule to be handover within 4 months
4. Nature of Work
(Can you give example of common work for PMC?)
Some of the general work are:
Provides the services of project life cycle, the principles of proactiveness and creating the win-win situation is necessary keeping
in mind the customer / clients requirements.
Face various challenges like design issues, constructability issues,
long lead material issues, inter contractor coordination issues,
engineering issues, safety issues, which can be tackled only by a
well-organized approach of the PMC.
Reporting dashboard, round table progress review and conduction of
brainstorming sessions, training on various field, design
construction interface, regular quality audits, quality diligence &
delivery sessions in team.
Awareness of various processes involved in Project Management
and detail study of multiple constraints of project like Time-CostRisk-Scope-Quality-Resource are an integral part of any project
management consultancy.
Planned series of activities and design them in synchronization with
our customers requirements.
They responsible for overall planning, coordination, monitoring and
controlling of a project from inception to completion in order to
produce a functionally and financially viable project that will be

completed on time, within authorized cost and to the required

quality standards.

There are many different field in construction that PMC can work in the
construction industry. As a project manager you will either join the
public sector, private sector, utilities, energy, rail or major programmes
and infrastructure team to coordinate all parties involved, taking time
to fully understand the clients needs.
8. Advices
(What is your advice for young generation like us to become a PMC)
I definitely will support youngster to follow the path of becoming a
good PMC. This is because the PMC field are still not known by many.
With the right guidance and training, I am sure many of you can
achieve more than what I am today.
