SYLLABUS IN COLLEGE ALGEBRA

DEPARTMENTS MISSION AND VISION

The department aims to provide the student with a course of study directed toward an understanding of mathematical theory and its application and relation
to other fields of study. This study includes an emphasis on precision of definition, reasoning to precise conclusions, and an analysis and solution of problems
using mathematical principle.
OBEJECTIVES:
1 To provide high quality, meaningful, and relevant higher education in Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
2 To develop educated mathematicians and scientists of inquiring, creative and disciplined intelligence.
3 To provide opportunities for students to develop functional competence in Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
4 To prepare graduates to achieve leadership status in their communities and careers.
5 To provide students that are fully competent in careers that are fulfilling.
