BE THE BRAND.
BE THE BUSINESS.
BE YOU...

About
the conference
In its 14th year, Franchise Knowledge Series 2016 stands as a platform for all businesses that are
associated with the world of franchising, or are
considering doing so. The knowledge series has been
divided into various modules and levels to facilitate
the maximum learning based on the understanding
and experience of the veterans with franchising. These
discussion forums will be chaired by eminent
personalities and subject matter experts from the
respective fields, as well as peers from the industry
who will share their experiences and
ideas on franchising.

As a strategy, franchising has at its core the principle of Building a brand,

which is bigger entity then the brand owner and the Brand partners. It is the
partnership between the franchisor and franchisee that builds a responsive
network that adjusts itself both to the needs of the central vision and the
ground realities of each franchised outlet as it harnesses the spirit of
entrepreneurship inherent in all.
I am pleased to welcome our members and to everybody interested in building
growth to participate in the Franchise Knowledge Series and gain valuable
insight on the important aspects of franchising.

works for both the franchisor and the franchisee,
Whether you are considering franchising for the first time or are an
established franchisor, your brand integrity must always remain your
top priority. One of the primary advantages of franchising is that it
provides you with a highly-motivated operator. And in many franchise
systems, franchised units will routinely outperform the franchisor's
company operations on quality scores. But in poorly controlled
systems, franchisees that do not follow the system will cause the brand
to suffer. This seminar will focus on how to use the four vital
understandings about franchise business:
Franchise Feasibility- is franchising the correct expansion strategy
for your company
Tactical Business Planning - the design, development and
implementation of a franchising strategy
The benefits and risks of franchising your business
- Determining the core drivers of your business and setting
standards

franchisee
