2004 - Present Cook, Milestone’s Restaurant at Empress Walk
- Time management and organization skills are refined when preparing dishes
- Responsible for training new recruits in the art of food preparation
- Well-developed communication skills in a team-oriented environment, which is needed to
ensure that all dishes will be prepared in a timely fashion
VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
May 2008 – Present Bird Watcher, Rouge Park
- Counting the different bird species that come and breed in a sector of the Rouge Park,
and creating a report of the results of the count for the 2008 Rouge Park Breeding Bird
Survey
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Excellent command of the English language, fluent in Japanese and working knowledge (currently learning) of
French and Cantonese
ACTIVITES
- Enjoys snowshoeing, camping, and ice fishing during winter in Algonquin Provincial Park
- Backpacked in many Provincial Parks of Ontario and National Parks in the USA
- Plays the piano at a Royal Conservatory of Music Grade 8 level
- Achieved a Royal Life Saving Society Canada Distinction Award in water rescue training
- Building and designing home-crafted Kevlar canoes
