3. Detailed Project Description

• CG-GM Lotus Notes Support has been supporting GM for more than a year.
This project is basically to provide support for the applications developed and
also providing enhancement for application which requires modifications.

• The offshore team is currently involved in the following kind of work

requests,

 Conducting impact analysis of the specifications provided by the clients.

  Coding based on the Specifications provided by the Client and according to
the checklist.
 Reviewing the work done. Following and preparing Quality Documents
conferring to standards.
 Promoting the changes.
 Production support.
 Providing access to the users to access the database.
 Monitoring the server.

• Satyam’s role in brief: Satyam is involved in development, administering and

monitoring all the applications. Satyam is following Six Sigma methodology to
carry out this task. Reports will be generated according to the scheduled
routine.

 Onsite activities – Administer and managing the development, test,

production environments planning. Handle high severity issues which require
immediate attention, system monitoring and proactive problem identification,
Documentation and preparing Procedure/Training manuals.

• Offshore activities – Handle medium and low severity issues and also
providing enhancements for applications from GM

• Associate’s Role:

Srinivasa Reddy Kambham is a Lotus Notes certified professional, with more

than Two years experience in the area of Support and Maintenance of Lotus Notes
applications.

He has strong experience in Lotus Notes and also knowledge in Teamstudio tool
which helps in versioning and handling the databases.

He has good knowledge about Web Development using Java Script, HTML, and XML.

He has strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with people at all levels.
Proven experience in the entire Application Development and productivity.

His role will be as follows in CG-GM Project.

♦ Managing the production support for General Motors.

♦ Monitoring the servers

♦ Client communication and offshore-onsite coordination

♦ Suggest and implement enhancements / up gradations to the existing

applications

♦ Maintain documentation.
♦ Filling timesheets and other relevant information by providing periodic updates to
higher management in Satyam.
