We performed a retrospective
study of all patients with cancer registered at INEN,
a tertiary-care cancer center in Lima, Peru, from
January 2006 to December 2013, and selected
those cases with culture-confirmed tuberculosis.

MATERIALES Y MTODOS:
En el perodo de estudio se
registraron 82,835 casos de
cncer, encontrndose 130 casos
de tuberculosis cultivo positivo
asociados
a
neoplasias
hematolgicas y slidas; de los
cuales 67 casos fueron de sexo
masculino y 63 de sexo femenino.
La edad promedio fue de 52.36 +/21.21 aos.
