Q2. Considering the skewed curve of managerial talent available in China, a
situation so similar to India, what are the capabilities that ASIMCO would have to
develop to remain competitive? (Define the capabilities duly classified appropriately.

Capability to develop a shared mind set: ASIMCO needs to inculcate a
unified brand identity so as to align the entire workforce with its vision
Capability to induce accountability: ASIMCO needs to create professionals
who are achievement oriented and get the job done
Capability to mitigate risks: Uncertain times and a shift in cultural fluency is
prone to risks, such risks needs to be mitigated.
Capability to transfer knowledge: To successfully conduct LDP, the
capability to transfer knowledge from one generation to the next is crucial
Capability to plan the workforce: With the current workforce being too
bureaucratic or entrepreneurial, a balance has to be struck on the number and
kind of employees being appointed on new projects
Capability to convey vision: To create a change, effective communication
needs to be achieved on how the change will positively impact ASIMCO,
China and the workforce
Capability to develop talent pool of professionals : Develop a pool of
employees who are credible, experienced, loyal and have a global outlook
