APPLYING

FOR THE COPENHAGEN MBA


Application Deadlines for the class starting in September 2016 are as follows:

January 4, 2016
April 11, 2016
FINAL DEADLINE: JUNE 17

You are encouraged to submit your application as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Places are limited
and competition is very high.
Applications must be submitted online via the following link: https://mbacbs.fullfabric.com/signup (please use
the latest version of Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari for he best results).


Application Requirements

1. Application Form

Applicants should complete the online application form. Importantly, you are also asked to complete four
essays. Herewith the essay questions:

Essay 1: Tell us about any extracurricular activity you have been involved in. Why have you made time
for it? (Maximum 200 words)
Essay 2: Discuss the relevance of "Responsible Management" in a modern business context?
(Maximum 500 words)
Essay 3: What has been your most challenging experience with leadership? Why is this experience
memorable? (Maximum 500 words)
Essay 4: How will studying an MBA in the Nordic region, or specifically Copenhagen, uniquely impact
your career? (Maximum 200 words)

2. Attachments
The following documents must be attached in the fields provided:
a) Curriculum Vitae

Your CV should provide information about your practical work experience and the following details for
each position youve had:

The companys primary business area


A short description of your responsibilities and assignments
All relevant achievements in each position


b) Academic Records

You must upload copies of your diploma(s) and grades from all the universities you have attended onto
the application platform.
Further to this it is MANDATORY to also send the official academic records to Copenhagen Business
School by post or courier to the following address: Full-time MBA; Porcelaenshaven 22; Frederiksberg
2000; DENMARK
Failure to provide official academic records will result in rejection.

c) Digital Photo


Please upload a digital photo (headshot in passport style) in the field provided on the online application
form.

3. Recommendations

Two professional recommendations are required in support of your application. The first reference must be
from an individual to whom you have reported to directly. The second reference can come from another
professional/colleague who is in a position to assess your ability and potential.
You can send a request to your referees via the online application portal.
Once you have entered your referees contact details, they will receive an automatic request (via email) to fill
in an online recommendation. It takes an average of 20 minutes to fill in the recommendation forms and
submit them online.

4. Admission Tests GMAT or GRE (MANDATORY FOR ALL APPLICANTS)



All applicants must take a General Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
and achieve a good score the Copenhagen MBA Class average GMAT score is 620. Applicants must achieve
the equivalent score in the GRE TEST

You may send your scores via the following school codes: JCZ-FT-20 for GMAT and 0126 for GRE.

5. Interview

Once an application has been submitted and reviewed, applicants that are deemed strong enough and/or
potentially suitable for the programme will be invited to an interview. This will take place either at CBS in
Copenhagen or over the telephone/Skype.

Candidates will be informed of the decision of their application within two weeks of their interview.
There are three possible outcomes after the interview:
a) Admission: Your application has been successful and you are admitted to the programme of the year for
which you have applied
b) Invitation to a 2nd Interview: Should the admissions committee wish to clarify some issues before making
their final decision, you will be invited to a second interview.
c) Rejection: You have not been accepted into the programme. Please note that the admissions committee will
not reevaluate an application once an applicant has been rejected.

Next Steps
Once you have been accepted to the CBS Full-time MBA programme, you will be offered a place via a contract
that must be signed and returned to the admissions team. Upon accepting a place at CBS, you will be guided
with regards to the following final steps:

1. Payment

The tuition fee of 319,000DKK is payable in 3 installments, including one installment of 33,000DKK as a nonrefundable reservation fee. Non-EU students must pay an additional administration fee of 16,200DKK. The full
tuition fees are due for payment even if you do not complete the degree program. Additional expenses for
books, course material, seminar accommodation, study tours, etc. are expected to amount to about
120,500DKK.

2. Visa

All visitors to Denmark must have a valid passport to enter the country. VISA requirements to enter the country
may vary and are always subject to change, so it is always wise to check with the Danish embassy or
consulates in your area before finalizing any travel plans. In general students from outside the Scandinavian
countries who study in Denmark must obtain a residence permit. Please see the following link more details:
