Reflection:
Once I understood how to use Storybird, I thought it was a great tool to use in the classroom. I liked that it expanded my thinking
beyond words. I had to think harder about how to express my ideas as pictures. The only thing I wish I could have done was
upload my own pictures from the Internet. Sometimes I had an exact image in my head that I wanted to incorporate in my
project, but I could only choose from the pictures Storybird provided.
However, I could see my self utilizing this tool in my classroom. This is a great tool for visual learners. It is beneficial for them to
be able to see more pictures and read less words. I also like that they can be created by both students and teachers. It is a tool
that can be used as an informal assessment to check where students understanding is on a certain content area.
