Join Brisbane City Council, bushcare and centre volunteers, and the
rangers from our Japanese sister wetlands Yatsu-higata, to celebrate
the 20th anniversary of the Boondall Wetlands Environment Centre.
The morning will include a variety of free fun-filled activities including:

Boondall Wetlands Environment Centre opened to the public in 1996 to provide a range of
environmental learning and engagement opportunities for Brisbane residents and visitors. Situated on
the edge of the Ramsar-listed Moreton Bay wetlands, this centre plays an important role in promoting
the conservation of wetlands and migratory shorebirds. For more information about Councils
