This image uses the lighting and

colours to a good advantage as
the depth of field is used to blur
out the background just after
the plate.

The thing I like about this picture is

the fact he grabs the essence of a
BBQ and translates it to the photo
with the use of the paper plate and
the white background makes the
food the main point of interest
stands out.

The reason why I like this image is

that the cake is clearly visible from
the front but then blurs out further
away and that the mint adds clarity
to the piece adding more colour to
the piece.

the reason why this piece is good in my

opinion is that I love how the gas is
building up in the drink and how its not
settled at all and that in the background
theres a man pouring into a glass adds
more texture to the overall photograph.

The reason why I like this piece is because

having the backdrop of grass and the window
frame add more colour and again the depth of
field showcases the food more than the
secondary objects.
