OFFICERS, to the faculty and staff, and to our dear teachers, A Tagum
Tagumpay na buntag kanatong tanan!

We all know that the teachers day is intended to be a special day for the
appreciation of our teachers. And also teachers day represents a significant
token of the awareness and understanding displayed for the vital
contribution that teachers make to education and development. As I meet
teachers along the way, I could not help but smile and greet them a happy
teachers day not just because its their special day but its because of all the
things and especially the thoughts they have contributed in our lives as a
student. A teacher is a person who helps us in shaping our lives from our
childhood days, a person who wipes our tears and makes us smile, teaches
us, scolds us when we do wrong things, play with us and even helps us to
overcome our fears. Teachers are people specially made by our Almighty
Father to look after His wonders. Further, teachers are our second mentor in
our lives, they helped our parents teach us the alphabets, count from one to
ten, and learn to say those basic words. They also helped our parents to
teach us right from wrong, hence, like a candle in the dark that lights our
way into righteousness.
Today, we are all gathered here to give salute to our heroes which we owe so
much. In this way, we could somehow pay back all their efforts, hard works,
and of course, patience that they contributed to us as a student. To our
heroes, remember that words and actions are not enough to express our
gratitude and show how we really treasure you as our second parents. I am
hoping that in todays celebration, you could somehow realize that you are
really important and precious for the students because the students will
never be where they are right now without your guidance and support. I
hope you will enjoy and be fulfilled as we salute you on this special day!
Once again, please allow me to state this line to ponder for our teachers,
