6.2 Ms VM evoked the committee that the bidders had to meet a minimum requirement of
60% or more on functionality to qualify to the next phase i.e. Price and B-BBEE
preference points.
6.3 The underneath companies were scored on functionality evaluation as follows:

BEC agreed that the BEC recommen

amendment or ideas.

6.4 The committee agreed that Kekana Suppliers and Lefakong Consultants qualified for
phase (3), i.e. price and BBBEE status level of contribution preference points. The
committee established that there are discrepancies on pricing provided by Kekana
Supplies. The total price on the pricing schedule is different with total price on SBD (1).
6.5 The committee agreed to consider the pricing on SBD (1) as per conditions applicable to
the bidders pricing , read thus If there are any discrepancies in the pricing schedules,
summary of cost schedule and the SBD 1, only the total bid price indicated on the SBD
1 will be considered.

6.7 The copy of BBBEE certificate provided by Kekana Supplies is not certified, the
committee agreed to score them zero (0) on BBBEE status level of contribution as per
special conditions of the bid paragraph 10 read thus, Bidders are required to submit original
and valid BBBEE status level verification certificate or certified copies there /Sworn affidavit
sign commissioner of Oath together with their bids to substantiate their BBBEE rating
claims.
