BUSINESS VIABILITY
4.1 LEGAL ASPECTS

Business Permit
It is so important to have a business license. Its to ensure that the financial health of the
company is in good standing. Vendors, contractors and most importantly the state and
local governments need to know that the business is legitimate. By having a business
license, it tells the community that we are taking the business seriously. Additionally,
having a license allows us to file for a yearly tax return supporting the legitimacy of the
business.

Sanitary Permit
A certificate that is issued by an authorized government inspection agency that confirms
the restaurant's facility and/or cargo has been inspected and met the minimum sanitary
requirements.

Fire Safety Inspection Permit


A fire safety certificate is granted by Fire Department prior to the occupation of the new
building, or part of the building, and upon completing works required under the
department's fire safety order.

Application for Registration


Registration occurs once the owners have been granted admission and have confirmed the
acceptance of offer. Often, payment of a non-refundable registration deposit is required
before we can register. The Le Pattiserie receive information regarding registration for the
first term prior to the first day of operation.

Health Certificate for Food Handlers


All the staffs employed in Le Patisserie that will engage in food, entertainment and
personal services are required to undergo medical and physical examination given by
government hospitals, medical clinics and those private hospitals. It is to assure that the
foods of Le Patisserie are safe to eat.

Health Certificate for Non-Food Handlers


The purpose of this service is to ensure health regulation in all food and non-food
establishments. This is necessary to protect the staffs from any
food-borne diseases and other diseases caused by poor sanitation.

Barangay Clearance
Barangay clearance is an important document. The management must have it so they can
process the business and other personal transactions. It is a guarantee that the business is
operating legally on the location or area.

Application for Building Permit


It is simply in compliance with the proper construction of a house or a building following
the requirements set by law or the National Building Code. It is to make sure all the
proper technical, mechanical, electrical, and structural plans for the construction of the
building are met.

Application for Corporation Partnership/Coop


Doing business in the Philippines, either as single proprietorship, partnership
or corporation, calls for licenses or permits from government. Le Patisserie need to obtain
a business license in the locality where business will be established, as well as register the
business with the Department of Trade and Industry in case of sole proprietorship, or with
the Securities and Exchange Commission in the case of partnerships and corporations.

4.3 SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
COMMUNITY
Le patisserie strives to make a positive impact in the communities that are serve. To value
the communities to do business and are dedicated in embracing the responsibility to improve
them. Through helping others Le Patisserie would be able to fulfill the social responsibility while
gaming familiarity and publicity.

ENVIRONMENT

Le patisserie promotes continues improvement in reducing the carbon footprint created


by the organization. The restaurant would like the customers to care about where the food comes
from, how the food is handled or raised, how it taste and ofcourse care about the environment. Le
Patisserie will probably used a recycled materials, one of these are that all take-out boxes made
from sugarcane materials instead of styrofoam, we'll use 100% recycled napkins and hand
towels, water is only serve when customer requests it. We will use non-toxic cleaning materials
and use flow-low toilets.

4.4 WASTE MANAGEMENT


Le Patisserie waste management schedule will be every after 2 days like Monday and
Thursday. It will be collected by the garbage truck of municipal at 7:00 o'clock in the morning,
when there are few customers.
