SUMMARY:

The State of the Nation Address was often delivered and broadcast
serves as a means to inform the nation about its present economic,
political, social condition. Vehicle for the president to summarize the
accomplishments and plans programmed of government both for particular
years until the end of their term of office
President Rodrigo Duterte delivered his first State of the Nation
Address last July 26, 2016 at session Hall Batasang Pambansa Complex,
Quezon City. President Duterte began his first SONA that he will not result
into finger pointing against the past administration. After the joint
session was adjourned, militant groups who just finished a demonstration
rally outside the Batasang Pambansa to show their support to the Duterte
administration they went in a meeting with President Duterte
The message of the President was focused on combating illegal drug
trade by initiating a nation wide drug war. Followed by the criticism from
United States Human Rights experts that extra judicial killing has
increased since the election.

REACTION
I agree on what President said during his SONA, his policies and plans for
our country. About the extra judicial killing, it must have a kill list
documenting the extrajudicial killing of suspected criminals involved in drug
trafficking crimes. The law makers must respond about the criticism o rise the
EJK called by Duterte and demanded congressional inquiries and investigate the
incident
