3. Nature of the project

The project in operation is dedicated to the development of the
following economic activities: purchasing, processing and marketing
of fruit pulp in pieces or slices.
The project operation will be devoted to the purchase, processing
and marketing of fruit pulp in pieces.
Purchase.
Contact direct suppliers, farmers who have the best fresh fruit at
the best price, place and transfer. For this we will use the following
methodologies:
The observation of the purchaser during the act of purchase.
Analysis of the environment in which it occurs as the act of buying
and understanding of the different variables that affect the behavior
of the buyer: signaling, influence of promotions, what is the behavior
in front of the linear and how they affect the different profiles of
buyers.

Interviews to suppliers at the time at which they take the decision of

(introduction of the product into the carriage, handling of products or
shape to return it to the linear) with the aim of understanding the
motivating factors and the extent to which affect the process of
purchase at the time in which it occurs.
Recordings of the behavior of purchase. The objective of these
recordings is to validate the responses of the interviews, compare
the results of the observations and draw conclusions on the point of
sale.
The prices indicated refer to the unit price per box in soles, including
the IGV
The breakdown of taxs can be consulted at any time in your basket
or at the time the purchase process.
Prices are subject to change without notice, to prevail for the user
the existing at the time of placing the order.
The increase in the income of consumers and demand throughout
the year of fresh products obliges retailers or their representatives to
establish purchase points, both in different production areas. Some
retailers make annual contracts with balers of fresh fruits and
vegetables, which can in turn recruit to growers. Contracts and
procurement practices in high volume allow the packers to obtain
sufficient quantities of individual products. The large packers of fresh
fruits and vegetables can hire to producers in several regions of
production to ensure that fresh fruits and vegetables are available
every week of the year. These packers usually sign contracts only in
regions with a large number of producers. In addition, primarily
recruited to the largest producers, even in the regions of production
concentrated. Some packers guarantee supplies through the own
production of commodities. It is unlikely that large retailers and
packers buy products directly to a single producer of small scale,
especially a producer in a remote area of production. As small-scale
producer of fresh fruit, you may consider selling directly to retailers.
Although some chains of shops and independent retailers have
programs of local purchase of fresh products, these stores and
programs are not common. You must develop its own marketing
system. In effect, must become the producer, packer and wholesaler.
Processing.
Present the best ways to process the fruit using different methods of
conservation, fruits in slices or in pieces for markets of prepared
foods, frozen and fresh with integrated systems of selection and
conservation.

For the present it is first necessary, disinfect the area to work,

washing the bureau and the knives with chlorinated water. The fruits
are washed and disinfected to then proceed to withdraw the hulls.
For the preparation of the fruit of bananas was very easy to remove
the shell and is performed only with the hands and then cut with a
knife into slices of banana to give you a better presentation.
In the case of the pineapple and apple is necessary to remove the
hulls with a knife and then cut the fruit into slices of special sizes to
ensure that the dehydrated is best because it depends a lot on the
contact area of the fruit with the heat generated in the oven.
Commercial Sterilization
Sterilization as a method of conservation can be applied to any
product which has been stripped, chopping or subjected to other
treatment of preparation, fitted with a suitable container and sealed
in hermetically so as to prevent the entry of microorganisms after
sterilization and also the entry of oxygen. The packaging should
display vacuum conditions to ensure the quality of the product.
The object of the conservera, whose main point is the commercial
sterilization, is to destroy pathogenic microorganisms that may exist
in the product and prevent the development of those that may cause
deterioration in the product.
The sterilization prevents survive pathogenic organisms or producers
of diseases whose existence in the food and its accelerated
multiplication during storage may cause serious damage to the
health of consumers. Microorganisms are destroyed by heat, but the
temperature necessary to destroy varies. Many bacteria can exist in
two forms, vegetative or of lower resistance to temperature, and
spatulate or greater resistance. The study of the microorganisms
present in food products has led to the selection of certain types of
bacteria as microorganisms indicators of success in the process.
The indicator microorganisms are the most difficult to destroy by
thermal treatments, so that if the treatment is efficient with them it
will be with greater reason with those microorganisms more
sensitive thermos.
One of the microorganisms most used as an indicator for processes
of commercial sterilization is the Clostridium botulinum, which is
causing serious poisonings due to food of low acidity, or preserved in
vacuum environment, two of the conditions for the production of
toxins by the microorganism.
The heat destroys the vegetative forms of microorganisms and
reduces to a security level the spores, i.e. the resistant forms of the

microorganisms, ensuring that the product can be consumed without

problems by the human being.
Marketing.
Selecting a track of Direct Marketing There are several factors to consider
when choosing a track for direct marketing. The location can have a major
impact on the profitability of a company because the location affects the
track of direct marketing used, as well as the ability to attract customers.
In addition, some direct marketing channels, such as the operations of
"harvest-you-same", work well for some products, but not for others. Carry

fruits to the market requires special handling. To preserve the quality

and maintain the sales capacity, each crop must be harvested,
prepared for the market, packaging, and sent. (special requirements
are listed for the specific management of fruits covered in this series
of agricultural alternatives.)
Any direct marketing of products can increase your exposure to risk.
Your insurance policy owner of farm can provide a limited liability
insurance for products; however, the additional coverage should be
considered. Check with your insurance agent to determine the
level of risk to which it is exposed. a fleet of trucks to distribute to all
supermarkets, restaurants, jugueras, hotels and others. This system
may require the maintenance of a vehicle for delivery of products,
good relations with the consumer, and the availability of a wide
variety of fruits and vegetables throughout the season. This
perspective can be a good way to obtain profits of the special
attributes of your product, such as products with attractive ethnic,
organic products and gourmet products. The success of agriculture
by subscription often depends on a long growing season and the
imagination to offer something that the consumer values the whole
season. When working with other producers, can provide its
customers with a wider variety of products which could produce by
itself.

The economic activity that is described according to the

international standard industrial classifier of all Economic Activities
(ISIC), Revision 4 is determined according to the coding G47711.

a. Description
The area of influence of the project in operation includes 33, 820
km2 the same that is bounded by the Provinces of Lima,
Barranca, Cajatambo, Caete, sings, Huaral, Huarochiri, Huaura,
Oy, Yauyos and El Callao and between them are dealt 177
districts.
b. Geographic features.

Population. 10 894 412 (census 2 015) inhabitants

The Department of Lima represents about 3% of Peruvian
territory through its territory of 35.892.49 km (37.620,85 if it
includes the province of Lima).
Climate: The climate is varied, temperate and humid and with high
cloudiness in the winter to coastal zone. Subtropical, desert and humid;
a microclimate with temperatures that fluctuate between
temperate and warm. The Department of Lima is in its coastline
cloudy from May to December, with sporadic occurrences of the
sun in those months, although the remote areas of the Sea of the
climatic region Yunga, call on the 500 masl and where they are
located Chosica, Cieneguilla, La Molina and Canto Grande in San
Juan de Lurigancho, have sunny afternoons and higher
temperatures average (especially if we find ourselves on the
1000 masl.
Temperature. The average annual temperature is 18.5 to 19 C,
with a maximum annual summer some 29C. ). On the coast the
mass of clouds is due to the cold waters of the Humboldt Current
that runs through the South Pacific Ocean, which reduces the
ambient temperature between 6 and 7 C, and therefore the
evaporation of the sea is less. The rain or drizzle is the typical
rain in the region. The degree of humidity has a permanent
average of 80%. The annual average temperature is 14 C usual
during the winter and 25.5C during the summer.
Rainfall. The precipitations are rare and usually occur in the
form of garuas or drizzles.

S.A.C will direct the work (the same that made the project).

7. Previous studies
The present project to be carried out has no feasibility studies
and studies have not been conducted on pre investment earlier;
but if you have conducted market research and opinion surveys
with regard to the processing and marketing of fruits which leads
us to take the decision to continue the feasibility study present.
Due to the fact that the activity is known and there is no risk. The
fruit, immersed in a complex set of activities each one of them
with a market and different actors hinders the definition of the
value chain, or in other words, the contribution of value to the
final product by each one of the segments involved from
production to consumption.
The margin, which is the difference between the total value and
total costs incurred to perform the activities generating value.
The data source prices correspond to national average prices in
markets of origin, in /kg without IGV and in bulk.
The prices at the wholesale level and target are the average of
the national weighted Mercas and sale to the public respectively.
In both apple and banana are on tree. The average increase until
the store position farmer is 0,10/kg in apple and 0.07 /kg in
the case of bananas.
The price of the Golden apple and pear is on central, cold
normal.
The tomato is smooth on alhndiga or warehouse of farmer. The
prices of destination are weighted average prices for sale to the
public.

8. Problematic situation and conception of the

project as a solution to the same.
a) The problematic situation prevailing in the area of influence of
the project are summarized in the following aspects
-

Bad development of the supplier fruit bowl.

High degree of unemployment
Low market price
The bad distribution of fruits.
Transport trucks with few hours of route.

b) The project in operation will contribute to the solution of the

problem situation as follows.
Through the production and marketing of minced fruit or slain:
It will reduce the degree of unemployment since that
generate around 600 jobs thus benefiting 3,000 families
limean.
Products will be offered at a price adjustable to the needs of
the market limeo.
With the development of our direct providers improve the
quality of life of farmers. Due to our increased demand will
increase your production i increase their income in the family
stock exchange.
More work will be given to the transportation trucks. As on the
market today even ay a low rate in the Rotary of trucks of
transportation due to the poor distribution of resources.

9. Objectives.
-

Determine the viability or feasibility of the implementation of

the economic activity of the project in their area of influence.
Determine the profitability economic, financial, social and
environmental aspects of project in operation.
Collect items from trial to take the decision to accept, defer or
reject of the investment project.
Determine if the project in operation will contribute to society
in the solution of their problems concerned.
Collect items from trial to take the decision to make
adjustments to the project during its feasibility study.
Analyze the VAN AND IRR of the project to determine its

2.

Study of the population

The population installed in the geographic scope of the market

objective is 8 894 412 inhabitants according to the last census in
the year 2015. Whose characteristics are presented on important
issues such as population, poverty, Business, street vendors and
independent workers, housing and households, urban growth, income
and expenditure and citizen security. It is a city in continuous growth
such as the girls and the boys, adolescents and our older adults, which
make up more than 40 per cent of the population in Lima.

3. Study of the needs.

To determine and measure the magnitude of the social needs in
the target market, the following have been implemented research
market techniques, sampling surveys, interviews and direct
observation.
Sampling. In the food studies, the sampling design is the part

that requires greater care, since it determines the potential

success of a foodstuff, and this depends on the type of analysis
and interpretation to be performed. For that sampling be
sufficiently representative and reliable, must be well designed.
This means that the sample to be taken should consider the
greater variability in an entire population statistics. The
representativeness is given by the number of replicas to be taken
into account and by the knowledge of the factors that may
influence a particular variable.

Surveys

The surveys shall be addressed to those responsible for the

acquisition or purchase of inputs from the companies in the
formal and informal market that by its economic activity used
fruits or some of its derivatives. The survey addressed to
consumers of products include aspects such as.
Type of products they buy.
Buying habits: places, quantity and frequency of purchase.
Identification of the supplier of fruits.
Purchase intent toward products derived from fruit.

Will be the modality used closed question with alternatives delimited as

well as some open questions that can be answered for free criterion of
the interviewer. The surveys were conducted in a personal manner by
the study researchers and simultaneously clarified questions and
answers when it was convenient.

Interviews
Personal interviews were conducted to obtain information of the
knowledgeable of the topic in terms of conditions of cultivation and
processing alternatives and conservation of chopped fruits
Direct observation.

The observation is to go to where the user is and observe the

conduct that it is at the time of performing a particular activity of
interest in the study or to respond to questionnaires, this allowed
to take into account the attitudes, reactions and interest of the
consumer to with similar products.
