Axillary temperature is the common method where it is preferred and
use by health care providers because of the usage of digital thermometer
nowadays.

In the rectal temperature it is the most accurate and reliable because it


is the core body temperature and it measures the temperature inside the
body cavity.

Define the following terminologies.


arythemias a problem with the rate or rhythm of heartbeat
tachycardia an abnormally rapid heart rate
bradycardia abnormally slow heart action
pulse deficit a difference in count between heart beat and peripheral pulse.
This occurs even when the heart is beating, the pulse is not reaching the
periphery.
e. intermittent pulse irregularity of the heart due to extrasystoles that are too
weak to open the semilunar valves; owing to the long pause following the
