Then I would wish
I were a knight
to free myself from a tyrants might,
I wish I could sing a song
to cheer up every aching heart

Heavens might
with hymns to praise
Gods loving might.
I wish I could shine a light
to brighten mans
unhappy life
I wish I could have
the power to stop
The senseless bloodshed and the strife
But then you see,
Im just a child
to hope I can have
