AsPrincipalDeputyAssistantSecretaryofIntergovernmentalandExternalAffairsattheU.S.
DepartmentofEnergy,Imanagedateamthatworkedcloselywithgovernors/mayors
implementingcleanenergyprograms,assistedcompaniesseekinggrants/loanstofund
emergingtechnologies,andhelpedmeetthegoalsofthePresidentsClimateActionPlan.
SinceleavingDOEinMayof2015,Ihavebeenhelpingcompaniesdevelopandcommercialize
emergingcleanenergytechnologies.

IneverypositionIhaveheld,successhasrequiredcollaborationsamongdiverseentitiesand
individuals:local,stateandfederalgovernments;electedofficials;industryandbusinessleaders;
universityadministrators,facultyandstudents;andprivatecitizens.Ibelievemyexperienceand
provendedicationtoalignedgoalsmakesmeuniquelywellsuitedtocarryontheworkoftheCenter.
