Animal Farm Projects

This project is NOT optional. It will count as a test grade. All projects are due at the
beginning of your class period on Friday May 4, 2012. This project is worth one test
grade, all projects not turned in by May 4th will result in a TEST grade of a ZERO (0)
Each student must have his/her own project to be turned in for a grade.
Options:
1. Create a diorama of the animal farm.
a. The diorama must be the size of a shoe box or larger.
b. It must include all of the creatures present for that scene.
c. It must include an index card explaining what the scene depicts.
2. Make a poster of a scene in Animal Farm.
a. The poster must be on regular sized poster board.
b. The poster must be colored with either paints or markers (this helps the
color last.
c. The poster must have a caption explaining which scene it depicts.
3. Create a model of any of the characters in animal farm.
a. The model can be made in clay, wood, or paper mache.
b. The model must be at least six inches tall.
c. The model should include an index card which explains the character it is
depicting.
i. This includes the characters name and function on the farm.
4. Newspaper
a. Create a newspaper for the animals of animal farm (must have a name)
b. Write an article that would rally the animals to work and inform them
about either Napoleon or Snowballs plans

of class and a grade of ZERO (0) will be given to all projects not turned in on time. I also
