CHAPTER 1-SUMMERY
This chapter includes the small summaries of the other chapters.
CHAPTER 2- INTRODUCTION TO THE ESTABLISHMENT
This chapter gives introduction of the training establishment ICC, its history, its
capacity, its other projects, the awards of won in construction industry, products of ICC.
CHAPTER 3-SETTING OUT
To construct a building or any other structure, first setting out process should be
carried out. The necessity of the setting out is to identify the locations of structural parts of
the buildings. Mainly setting out work must be carried out with higher accuracy and the
instruments should be free from defects. So this chapter includes the setting out procedures of
the site.
CHAPTER 4-EXCAVATION & EARTH WORK
Excavation is needed to construct the foundation in the building mainly and construct
drains, laying pipe lines (underground constructions). This chapter describes how to carry out
the excavation work, earth work and backfilling.
CHAPTER 5-FORMWORK & SCAFFOLDINGS
Formwork for in-situ concrete can be described as a mould or box, which wet
concrete, can be Describe as a Mould or box which wet concrete can be poured and
compacted. So that it will flow and finally set to the inner profile of the box or mould and
supported until it is sufficiently strong to carry its own weight and additional loads that are
necessary and the time of construction.
It is a temporary platform provided for work activities and the storage of material. It
may be above or below the normal ground level. It is legal requirement to provide a safe
working place for every employee. When the working height is 1.5m or more above the
ground level these are required. In the NIVASIEPURA housing scheme project site for doing
block work, wall plastering, soffit plastering and sunshade construction works scaffoldings
were used.
This chapter describes the formwork and scaffolding that we used in the Nivasiepura
CHAPTER 6-CONSTRUCTION
This chapter describes the constructing procedures of the super structure.

including the chemicals that we used as D.P.C. and materials of the painting.
