Concept Design
Management of maintenance work for the equipment before using the Work
Order (WO) manual print out a paper form. Print out should be prepared each
week to be distributed to each unit of work. It takes quite a lot of time to
complete a print out SPK which resulted in delays in care work in each work
unit. The time required to prepare the SPK to distribution to the units concerned
about one day. If one week has five working days, then the effective working
days in a week for work units to 4 days.

The next step is WO which has been accepted by the departement must
be validated by affix signatures prior to the relevant department head
approved by the head of the section below. To perform maintenance work
safely then the security procedures required by the relevant parties such
as the Operations and Department K3LH. This process takes a lot of time

and effort considering these document is paperbased must be signed by

authorized officers, so as to start work and finish the job requires a very
long process.
Besides affect the achievement of unit Key performance, also affect the
effectiveness of any personnel working in related units. Therefore we
need a process innovation to increase the effectiveness of the work in
terms of time and effort. So with this application is referred web-based
management of maintenance work which could improve the performance
of each unit of work and reduce the time loss of effective working hours.
This application is called Computerized Maintenance Management
System (CMMS). The computer system is used to simplify work processes
and data storage result of maintenance work in the form of digital data.
With this system user can be connected to the other user at the same
time in different places. So the user does not need to be inter-face with
each other to validate the signature. Signature is done digitally in the
form of user account login using a password.
CMMS also reduce the risk of data loss documents. Because digital
documentation stored securely on the server. Besides the accuracy of the
data from each activity will work well recorded based on real time time
jobs. History data can be searched easily through the application so as to
accelerate the work unit in the decision.

Business Process Definition :

CMMS application is built on the basis of concern for the development work unit
performance. Selection of web based platform to consider aspects of technical ease and
display user friendly application.
Web-based accessible broader access through a browser on each computer regardless of the
number of client and PC. It's just in the stage of development, a new CMMS to obtain
permission to be accessed internally, so it has not been possible to accessed from outside the
office. It is considered in terms of the security server. However, the use of CMMS through
internal access had been able to provide improved performance against the work unit.
Disadvantages of web based applications are cannot accessed from outside the office and
not mobile.

Android Based
To improve the performance of web based applications then made improvement by
developing android-based CMMS applications. Lighter than the android application Web
Based application, and the user does not require a browser to access the CMMS. Android
CMMS is an application that considers mobility as well as the ease of access to CMMS. In
use, the CMMS Android app can be more communicative to the user. Because of the nature
of mobile user application then this application can be brought anywherea and can be
accessed anytime by the user. This application is installed on each user gadget. Thus, the
user can more quickly get updated information related to the job and can be more
responsive to the work associated with it. On the other hand the management can be easier
to make a decision on a matter related to employment. The ease and speed of access to the
Android mobile application CMMS highly favored in this case, so that the performance of
any departement expected to increase more.

CMMS Feature Android Based

In the implementation of WO activity the user is not merely doing WO management
activities, but also required intense communication among fellow users to clarify and
reinforce the work of decision-makers in WO action. During these communication patterns
are applied by the user's activity Whatsapp application WO through which the
communication is often 'sink' or less structured during a lengthy discussion about some of
the things in the community group. The impact is often lost user information from several
previous messages because of too many new incoming messages, causing the user to lose
concentration

on

the

issues

being

discussed

at

that

time.

Concentration user can split apart and replaced by new problems that appear in the message.
That requires an application that can assist the intensity of communication between the user
in WO activity in a systematic way, orderly, well recorded in history, and there are
notification messages in real time. Applications are able to meet all of these needs are
Android-based applications.
Android Feature
For the initial stage, the development of Android-based mobile application CMS will
include management systems relevant to the Work Order (WO) with details of the
following features:
AUTHENTICATION
Identification of the user via the login page when first using the application.
AUTHORIZATION
Restrict access rights to use the application's features according to user role.
FEED WO
Showing update WO associated user. This feature is like a timeline on facebook
application.
VIEW WO
See WO detail with user information that is tagged and all comments on the WO.
COMMENT WO
Users can leave comments on all the WO. Comments can be text and / or images, and
can download other user name tags in comments.
CREATE WO
Users with certain privileges can make WO and to tag other users in the name of the
WO.
CHANGE WO
Users with certain access rights can change data WO.
DELETE WO
Users with certain access rights can delete WO incorrect or invalid.
WO RELEASE
Users with certain access rights can change the status WO (Open, In Progress, or
Closed).
WO UNRELEASE
Users with specific permissions can cancel WO.
WO REPORT
Users with specific permissions can view related report WO.
USER PROFILE
Each user has a profile page containing detailed information.
CALL USER
Users can call another user directly, either through the profile page or through the
comments on each WO.

PRIVATE MESSAGE
Users can give a message to another user, either through the profile page or through the
comments on each WO.
NOTIFICATION
Users will get a notification related to its activities in the CMMS system. This
notification will also appear in the Android notifications page (such as Whatsapp
application) so as to make users more concerned and curious to open it.
INTEGRATION
CMMS mobile applications will be made by adjusting the desktop web CMMS
application system which has been running so that both can sync data from stored on the
same server.
