Introduction
National Foods began its journey in 1970 as a Spice company with a revolutionary product that
popularized the concept of having clean, healthy food. National foods initiatives were to make
hygienic food, reduce time spent in the kitchens, foster health and contribute towards a positive
and a more rewarding lifestyle.

Strategy

Focus on low productivity and high potential districts including cultivation of food grain
crops in rain fed areas.
Implementation of cropping system through an active engagement of all the
stakeholders of the company at various levels.
Focus on pulse production through utilization of rice fallow, rice bunds and intercropping
of pulses with coarse cereals, oilseeds and commercial crops (sugarcane, cotton, jute).
Promotion and extension of improved technologies i.e., seed, integrated nutrient
management (INM)
Close monitoring of flow of funds to ensure timely reach of interventions to the target
beneficiaries.
Integration of various proposed interventions and targets with the district plan of each
identified district.
Constant monitoring and concurrent evaluation by the implementing agencies for
assessing the impact of the interventions for a result oriented approach.

Output
The company is principally engaged in the manufacturing of pickles, spices, ketchup, jam, rice,
salt and ready-to-eat meals.

Vegetable Shop

Introduction
In everyday usage, a vegetable is any part of a plant that is consumed by humans and
can be eaten either raw or cooked. Fruit and vegetable are both are normally present in
a vegetable shop where the trader sells directly to the public or to local businesses.

Role of the business


Vegetable play an important role in human nutrition, being mostly low in fat and
carbohydrates, but high in vitamins, minerals and fiber.

Automotive Industry

Introduction
The automotive industry is a wide range of companies and organizations involved in the
design, development, manufacturing, marketing, and selling of motor vehicles (cars). It
is one of the world's most important economic sectors by revenue.

Operations
Everything needed to make an automotive is divided into different departments. Then
the pain dept sprays all the pain and the coatings necessary for its protection form
pollution on the body. The parts of car are assembled on the body in the assembly line.
Some tests after that and the cars are ready to drive.

Quality control
Most automobile manufacturers require outside parts vendors to subject their
component parts to rigorous testing and inspection audits similar to those used by the
assembly plants.

Output
Automobiles are a liberating technology for people around the world. The personal
automobile allows people to live, work and play in ways that were unimaginable a
century ago. Automobiles provide access to markets, to doctors, to jobs. Nearly every
car trip ends with either an economic transaction or some other benefit to our quality of
life.

Wheat harvesting by hand

Introduction
Harvesting by hand or by machine is actually a small part of the whole process of taking
wheat from the field to a usable final product.

Operations
Harvesting takes several steps. The labor cuts the wheat stalks and gather them into
bundles which are left to dry. Then later all the labor gathers with a huge threshing
machine that separates the wheat kernels from the straw stalks.
However, today the same work can be done by one person on a combine, another to
drive the truck to the elevator.

Role of the business


Wheat is probably the most common cereal available all over the world and is in even
higher demand in recent years due to its abundant health benefits.

Introduction
The telecommunications sector comprises companies that make communication
possible on a global scale whether through the phone or Internet.

Operations
These companies created the infrastructure that allows data to be sent anywhere in the
world. The largest companies in the sector are wireless operators, satellite companies,
cable companies and Internet service providers.
