Why

#1 PURPOSE
We are made to worship
The chief purpose of man is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever.

It undergirds all other activities in life spiritual or sacred

The reason why we are placed in ACSI, BB, why we study, play, interact with friends, and
later on work, marry, etc. should always come back to fulfilling His purpose and to glorify
Him in our lives

Why

#2 (NOT MAN-INITIATED BUT) A RESPONSE TO

a) a revelation of who God is:
in the Spirit and in truth (alhqeia: what is true in things appertaining to God and the
duties of man)
b) His mercies and grace through Christ who saved us and allow us to worship the Father
in view of Gods mercies
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, Gods special possession,
that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful
light. (1 Peter 2:9)

Why

#3 IMPACT
We are changed as we worship; we become like who we worship and adore
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lords glory, are being transformed
into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. (2
Corinthians 3:18)
