Rape must Fall

As stated by the Interpol, South Africa is the rape capital of the world. As we Moorish_Genesis
members we are concerned citizens and we decided to do a research on how can we as the
community of South Africa what are the things we can do or implement to reduce rape and
according to the scholar Smore (2016) there are six (6) steps that will assistance in finding a
solution to rape culture Define, discover, dream, design, deliver, debrief.
Defining the problem is one step to reduce rape, in this case, rape and making ambiguous plans
about how and when the problem can be addressed and how successful the solutions could
potentially be implemented so as to effectively work.
Discovering stage is defining what is the real problem and what is it that generate this problem,
what are the main influences to this problem? Discovering is the part of the solution fluency
where the solution needs to be addressed and this can only be done when we know how and
when rape started increasing meaning we must take a look back to our history and evaluate
why there was this increase. Women were the victims of this madness but now wheels have
turned men are now also victims, where women are the victims men are the offenders this is
because in general men are physically stronger than women and they found it was easier to
attack them. Rape takes place mostly in quarantined areas such as forests and trails- where
perpetrators can get away with madder.
Dream-This is a process that happens in the mind, it will help envision the solution working
successfully. It is important to remain positive during this process. After discovering who the
main targets are, there is a need to come up with ideas of how to abolish the issue of rape, to
educate people how to protect themselves by taking defence class and to
Design-this is a stage at which we need to go through with the dream of stopping rape, how will
we implement the solution. Design is the section of the fluency where the steps in stopping rape
in which we create a campaigns in which create awareness in the community of South Africa to
stand against this evil which is eradicating our reputation as a nation #rape_must_fall in all
social media platform.
Deliver- This is a stage where all South African basically act upon the plan of reducing rape,
delivering the final solution. This is the point where actions are taken to prevent rape in South
Africa such as rally to promote #rape_must_fall and all the above solutions are implemented.
Debrief- this is a stage whereby we assessment of how well the solutions of fluency process
worked or not and if we managed to find a solution to the problem, this will only show in
statistics over a period of time. As it is known that rape can affect the victim both physically and
mentally, it is very important to find solution to this issue as it could have a huge negative
bearing on not only the people of South Africa but also on travel and tourism in the country
leading to many other unwanted issues .
