Khao Pattaya View Point


Pattaya Hill or Khao Pattaya is also known as Khao Phra
Tamnuk, you can see a panoramic view of the whole
Pattaya Bay and the city from the highest of the hill. The
hill at the evening time is more popular than the afternoon
time because of an opportunity to see sunset on the
horizon. You can also see the view by using binoculars
provided but they need to pay 10 Baht per a few minutes.
You can visit there for both day and night time. However,
the gate to visit the navy broadcasting station and the
Jumborn Prince statue is closed at 09:00 pm., but visitors
can still enjoy the view at a scenic point provided outside
of the gate.
How to get there
The location of the hill is very near to the city,
approximately 2 kilometers from South Pattaya.
Suan Chaloemphrakiat (Fitness Park)
is at foot of Pattaya hill on Phratani'uk Road. This small
park, covering a large area, was dedicated to
commemorate His Majesty the King's sixtieth birthday on
December 5, 1988. The gardens of the park boast a wide
variety of flowering plants. There are also multipurpose
grounds and winding trails for walking or jogging and
standard exercise facilities. On any given day, a large
number of people will relax, jog, exercise or simple enjoy
the scenery of Pattaya in this park.
The Million-Year Stone Park and Crocodile Farm
The Million Years Stone Park and Crocodile Farm is a good
place for who to love in the beautiful nature and fine
culture of Thailand. It was founded by Khun Suan
Phanomwattanakul, a businessman who loves the nature.
The Million Years Stone Park and Crocodile Farm located
on an over-70-acre piece of land, this Park & Farm is a
new striking tourist attraction created with more than 20

every effort to collect natural objects that are valuable

millions of years, and stratified rocks that are so colourful,
in the hope that one day he would be able to build a
tourist spot for people from far and near and those of
future generations, to view and admire together his
collection of natural wonders and to study and learn from
the actual things instead of text books, pictures and
hearsay which would be then only choices if the actual
objects should be allowed to disappear.

Mini Siam
Mini Siam is the place where you can see the world in one
location, covered the area of 30 rais. It was built in 1986
from the idea of Kasem Kasemkiartisakul at the ratio of
1:25 of the originals. Significant Thai buildings such as the
Phra Sri Rattanasasadarm Temple, the Victory Monument,
the Bridge over the River Kwae, Phraram 9 Bridge, and
the Phimai Stone Sanctuary are also displayed here. In
addition, there are also miniatures of famous European
and American buildings such as the Eiffel Tower, the
Tower Bridge, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Statue of
Liberty, and the Grand Canyon.

Pattaya Kart Speedway
Pattaya Kart Speedway is a very first Go-kart racing circuit
in Pattaya with an over 20 experience, Pattaya Kart
Speedway continue to be a leader in fast, safety and fun

costly and more safety. Controlling the Go-Kart and not

Pattaya Elephant Village


Pattaya Elephant Village was opened in 1973 as a
sanctuary for former working elephants. These elephants,
through reasons of injury or ill health, can no longer be
used as a part of the backbone of heavy work in the
jungles of Thailand. Also because of their diminishing
habitat, it is now longer possible to return them to the
wild.
The Elephant Village provides then magnificent creatures
with a safe haven, where they may live out their lives with
dignity and freedom from fear. A visit to the Elephant
Village is not only unique experience, but it is also a
lifesaver because the fees paid by our visitors contribute
to, the very survival of the elephants, both now and in the
future.

Siriporn Orchid Pattaya
Siriporn Orchid Farm offer a different color and different
species of orchids such as the Cattleya, Vanda,

Aranthera, Aranda, Arachnis, Renanthera, Ascocenda,
Phalaenopsis, Paphiopedilum and many others can be

How to get there


The official address of Siriporn Orchid Farm is 235/14 Moo
5, Tambon Nong Prue. To get there, from Sukhumvit
Road, turn left at the traffic light intersection in Central
Pattaya to Soi Nern Plub Wan. Go straight ahead for about
500 meters. Along the road, youll see road signs pointing
to the Siriporn Orchid Farm. The farm is on the right side
of the road.

Bhira Interanational Circuit Race Course


is an international car and motorcycle race course. It is
situated on State Highway 36 (Pattaya-Rayong) about 15
kilometers from Pattaya City. Races take place regularly
on Saturdays and Sundays.

amusement and recreational sports that Pattaya has to
offer. It comprises an enormous fresh water lake, with
cable skis, a sport that is fast-going popularity.

The Bottle Art Museum Pattaya
Bottle Art Museum Pattaya is the only museum in Thailand
to presents architecture building in different shape and
size of bottles. Peter Bedelais, the artist, inspiringly
created over 300 amazing miniature art placed in bottles.
These artworks show traditions, cultures, living
circumstances, exquisite landscapes, and many different
places. Apart from more than 300 art works in the bottles,
there are also different types of hand-made ships
presented in the Meseum. At the present, the Bottle Art
Museum is located in North Pattaya, opposite to Mini Siam
Pattaya.

Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum


Ripleys Believe it or Not Museum is a famous museum in
Pattaya, the museum also features the Motion Master
Theatre with flight simulator technology. It was founded
by Robert Ripley from the United States, who managed to
collect over 300 mystical, exotic and unusual items from
all over the world, divided into 10 individual themes
including optical illusion, primitive torture devices including
masks made from human skin, humans with 4 eyes,
horses with 3 legs, a replica of the Titanic made from a
million matchsticks.
How to get there
The location of Ripley's Believe It or Not! is on the second
floor of Royal Garden Plaza, which is very near Pattaya
beach and walking street. So it would be very easy to go
there as there are always many of Song Thaew heading to
the Beach Road.

located at Huai Sak Nok Reservoir at Kilometer 150 on


Sukhumvit Highway, turn left into the lane next to the
Green Way Golf Driving Range, for about 4 kilometers,
Look for a sign indicating the entrance. Different types of
aquatic sports are available and instructions are also
offered for windsurfing, sailing, paramotors, para-gliders
by course or by the hour. Certificates are conferred upon
completion of the course by the Royal Yacht Association
(RYC), a renowned British Institution. Restaurant facilities
are offered and boats such as canoes, catamarans and
kayaks are available for rent The atmosphere of the
reservoir is relaxing and cool. Between the months of
November and February thousands of teals, swallows, and
herons migrate to this area.

Buddha Hill (Pratumnak)
The Big Buddha in Pattaya is situated at the top of
Pratumnak Hill,high as a three storey house which it linked
to the Pratamnak Hill and Admiral Hill Viewpoint via a
tunnel. The Big Buddha also known as Pattaya Hill is just
an eight to ten minute's drive from Viewpoint or you can
reached this huge Buddha image by walk up a not-toodifficult staircase with the guardian serpent on each side
leading you to the temple. From Buddha hill you will see a
panoramic view of the whole Pattaya Bay and the city.
How to get there
The Big Buddha is only 2km from South Pattaya and entry
to the temple is free. However you can take mini-bus or
songtaew to go there in price around 200 baht.

The Sanctuary of Truth


The Sanctuary of Truth or know well as Prasat Satchatham
Temple, It is a wooden temple and located by the sea. It
was designed by Lek Wiriyapan, the founder of the
Ancient City at Samut Prakan Province in 1981. The
Temple is entirely built with wood. The beauty of the
Temple is elaborated through wood dwellings and
woodcarvings. It is considered an exotic and imposing
architectural work of art of the century, embellishing with
artwork and woodcarvings which reflects the intellect and
spirit of the Eastern civilization and art. It also reflects the
importance of religion which has helped to uphold the
world. The Temple received the award of Outstanding
Tourist Attraction from the Tourism Industry Awards in
2008.
How to get there
On Wong Phra Chan Beach, 3 km from North Pattaya. If
you are driving from Naklua Rd., turn into Soi 12 and drive
towards the end of the Soi where there is a large entrance
towards the Temple on the right.
Opening Hours: Daily from 08:00 am. - 05:00 pm.
Within the Temple compound, the dolphin training is
shown daily at 11:30 am. and 03:30 pm.

Khao Chi Chan


Khao Chi Chan features a sculptural image erected to
honor His Majesty King erected to honor is Majesty King
Bhumibol on te occasion of te 50th anniversary of his
enthronenment. The image is a sitting figure called Pang
Man Wichai and copied from Phra Phuttawarachabopit
which combines both Sukhothai and Lanna arts. The
images is 109 meters in eight and 70 meters and the
figure is named Phra Phuttamaha Wachirauttamapat
Satsada that means the Buddha who has brightness and
sublimity like Mahawachira. There are many kinds of plant
surrounding and huts for the visitors.
Wat Yansangwararam
Situated approximately 15 kilometers south of Pattaya
City, the temple, which covers a total area of 146 acres,
can be reached by turning left from Sukhumvit Road at
Km.160 marker. The temple was built in 1976 to pay
respect Somdet Phra Yanasangwon, the present Supreme
Patriarch and was later graciously admitted to be under
the patronage of His Majesty the King. The temple
grounds is comprised of: a mondop (pavilion with four
gables) enshrining a replica of the Buddha's footprints, a
large stupa where the relics of the Lord Buddha and his
disciples are enshrined, Phra Yanaret Vihan and an
international pavilion representing the architecture of
several countries.

Pattaya Underwater World is most modern ocean


aquarium in Asia, boasting a 100-meter-long, 6.4centimeter-thick acrylic pedestrian tunnel through an
underwater environment filled with dozens of marine
species. The new theme park covers a total area of 12-rai
and is housed in a structure similar to a large circus tent.
The aquarium itself houses more than 4,000 marine
animals, comprising more than 200 different species from
the region as well as some rare creatures from overseas.
Top in the Visitors must-see list is the rare shovelnose ray,
a hybrid between a shark and a stingray.

Located just 200 meters south of Tesco Lotus in South
Pattaya.

Nong Nooch Tropical Garden has area 1,500-rai and it is


world renowned for impressive Elephant and Thai Cultural
Shows, along with what is largely considered the biggest
and most beautiful botanical garden in Southeast Asia.
The garden designs and landscape art of different
countries are featured including French Garden, Pineapple
garden, Butterfly Garden, Cactus Garden, Topiary Garden
and Stonehenge Garden. The botanical species are various
such as heliconia and zingiberales, cactus, palm, rhapis
and creepers and climbers. A skywalk allows visitors to
view the gardens from above. There is also a mini zoo,
Thai cultural performances, elephant show. They also hold
special events and activities.
How to get there
It is located 18 km from the entrance to South Pattaya,
turn left from Sukhumvit Rd. at km 163 marker, continue
about 3.5 km.

Ko Kham Undersea
It's a small island situated in the south of Sattahip District
approximately 9 kilometers from land, and 45 minutes by
boat. It has an approximate area of 61 rai under the
responsibility of the Naval Coast Guard. The northern part
of the island if full of caral and aquatic animals. Tourists
can take the boat to Kham Island from Sattahip harbor
market, or the Samaesan Fishing Port.

Khao Sam Muk


A low hillock situated between Ang Sila and Bang Saen on
the road that runs along the seashore is Khao Sam Muk a
place known by most Thais for its tragic love story.
According to the legend, two lovers jumped off of the cliff
to declare their eternal love after facing parental objection
to their marriage. A panoramic view of Bang Saen beach
can be seen from the hilltop. Good quality Thai and
Chinese seafood restaurants are located at the foot of the
hills providing reasonably priced sumptuous dishes.
Pattaya Floating Market
Pattaya Floating Market covered an approximately area of
100,000 square meters, it's present Cultures and traditions

traditional Thai dishes.

Woodcarving Museum has on display rare pieces of
crafted 200 years old teak and is home for the impressive
and beautiful carved image of the elephant god Ganesha.
How to get there
There are also buses available for visitors to go Pattaya
Floating Market. However, there are only 5 times a day
(every 2 hours). For taking a bus to the floating market,
this could be the cheapest choice for visitors,
approximately 20 baht, but visitors might need to check
the time table of the beach bus services in order to know
what time the bus will arrive at their closest bus stop. In
the case that visitors are impatient, they can also go to
the Floating Market by metered taxi or Song Thaew, but
they need to pay higher.

Phanaraks Park
situated on Pornprapanimitr Road turning left on
Sukhumvit Road at Kilometer 145 for about 5 kilometers.
A privately-owned resort, the garden has maintained a
natural atmosphere with fish ponds and fishing equipment
available for rent. A swimming pool and accommodation in
the form of tents and bungalows are on hand to serve
visitors.
