Technical Writer/Editor, Strategic Operational Solutions, 2015-present


Lead all contract executive support to the National Infrastructure Advisory Council (NIAC) (a
Presidential Advisory Council), with drafting, communications/messaging, talking points, media
relations and logistic support to 30 CEO-level Council Members and the Assistant Secretary of
Infrastructure Protection at the Department of Homeland Security.
Write meeting minutes and high-level transcripts for quarterly business meetings (QBMs), in addition
to weekly working group meetings, and subject matter expert interviews in order to collect data for the
Councils reports and recommendations and comply with the Federal Advisory Committee Act
(FACA).
Edit all writing and correspondence done by all members of the team (Federal and contract) and ensure
all other administrative tasks including documentation and record keeping are completed.
Execute and lead support for the National Infrastructure Advisory Councils quarterly business
meetings, including planning, meeting support, logistics and after action tasks.
Researched, and wrote background briefings and draft reports for senior members of the NIAC, on
Water Sector Resilience which were presented to White House Administration leadership and published
at a QBM in Los Angeles, CA, NIACs first meeting outside of DC in the Councils history.
Work with the Designated Federal Officer to promote NIAC reports through the Sector Coordinating
Councils and other relevant stakeholder agencies and groups (such as EPA for Water).
Currently supporting a working group that is scoping a study on cyber security, as well as looking at
how the NIAC can improve its best practices going forward to create actionable recommendations.
Technical Writer/Secretariat VetFed Resources, 2014-2015
Researched, and wrote background briefings and draft reports for senior members of the NIAC, on
Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience National Research and Development Plan, Executive
Collaboration for the Nations Strategic Infrastructure and Transportation Sector Resilience which
were presented to White House Administration leadership and published.
Executed and lead support for the National Infrastructure Advisory Councils quarterly business
meetings, including note taking and development of meeting minutes.

the State, Local, Tribal and Territorial Government Coordinating Council (SLTTGCC).
