Document Interpretation 3: (Common Sense) part 1

1) Paine mentioned that in 1776, the UK, Society is produced by our needs, wants and
positive desires through unity, but the government is produced by peoples wickedness
and negatively retraining our vices. He clearly pointed out the differences between
society vs government.
2) Society in every state is a blessing. Government is evil and cause with misery and we
suffer. How crazy those for being the governor they have power to control things.
3) In 1776, there was no king in Israel at this time, but they rely on the scriptures what
belongs to Caesar, give it to Caesar. This seems like they respect each other.
4) It was hard to find a name of government of England because the corrupt had influence
on the crown. Europe is run on a king and why not a president likes the USA?
5) America became prosperous according to connection with Great Britain, but this is not
true. America will still flourish without the influence of UK. Wow, America is doing the
right thing on their business trade.
6) Europe is the parent country of America and not England. So, I thought England is the
real parent country.
7) Every time England had war with other foreign power, Americas trade was affected
because of the connection with England. I guess they both were not meant for each other
and dependent on one another.
8) America and Britain must have been apart. Britain cannot influence their government
to America because America is a big continent has different system of their own. This
would be difficult for Britain to get along the system of America or vice versa.
9) The Europeans felt that they were betrayed on receiving less freedom and knowing
that our soldiers are citizens, they wanted independency and more. It looks like they want
more power over other countries.
10) Let none other be heard among us, than those of A GOOD CITIZEN, AN OPEN
AND RESOLUTE FRIEND, AND A VIRTUOUS SUPPORTER OF THE RIGHTS OF
MANKIND AND OF THE FREE AND INDEPENDANT STATES OF AMERICA.
This means not to forget what happened, but to respect the past and let there be freedom
and healing to the future of America. What a deep thought and expression.
US constitution 2nd part
1) Article 1 is about Legislative Branch which is made up of two houses of Congress: The
Senate and House of Representatives. The House of Representatives shall be composed
of members chosen every second year by the people of several states.
2) In article 1, Section 2 says that the representative must be 25 years and up and should
be a citizen of USA for 7 years.
3) Article 2 is Executive Branch which is the President and the Vice President.
4) In Article 2, section 1 says the president and the vice president of the US shall hold
office for 4 years.
5) Article 3 is Judicial Branch which is about Jurisdiction of Federal Courts.
6) Article 4 is Concerning the States which is about rights and duties of the States. In
section 1 says that states recognize marriage in other states but not always divorce.
7) Article 4, section 2 says it is about rights and liabilities of citizen. This keeps a person

from leaving a state to avoid court action.

8) Article 5 is about how to Amend the Constitution. Two-thirds of all of the members of
both houses is required to make a proposal amendment to the constitution.
9) Article 6 is about the Supreme Law of the Land. All debts contracted shall be honored;
and the constitution shall be the supreme law of the land. All laws and all treaties made
under the authority thereof will be controlling, shall be honored by the US government.
All public officials must take an oath to support the constitution.
10) Article 7 is about Ratification. The ratification of the conventions is the nine states
such as New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York and Delaware. Attest:
