SECTION 1: Findings
Congress makes the following findings:
1) Nuclear research is beneficial in a multitude of fields in the world
today including energy, military, agriculture, and medical. (I)
2) Nuclear research is beneficial in energy because it produces high
amounts of energy efficiency with low carbon emission. (I)
3) Research on nuclear radiation also affects agriculture because food
irradiation keeps food fresh and kills off bacteria. Also food irradiation
preservers food and causes minimal changes in the taste, appearance,
texture, and nutritional value of the food it's preserving. (I)
4) Nuclear weapons can be a good negotiation tool, prevent war, and
protect a nation since other nations would be less inclined to attack a nation
with superior nuclear power. (II)
5) In 2015 in the United States of America, electricity from nuclear
energy made up 19.5 percent of total energy, with 797.2 billion kilowatt-hours
generated.
6) The amount of electricity generated by a 1,000-megawatt reactor at
90 percent capacity factor in one year is 7.9 billion kilowatt-hours which is
enough to supply electricity for 720,000 households, which is much more
efficient than other forms of energy.
SECTION 2: Purpose
This bill provides additional funding of One (1) billion USD towards the U.S. nuclear
program to research and development, but also to the military.
SECTION 3: General Provisions
One (1) billions USD will go towards additional funding towards the United States
nuclear programmes to assist in its research and development over the the next
ten (10) years. The military can request part of this grant to be used solely for the
development of their nuclear arsenal.
This grant will go towards funding more Nuclear research centres for the
development of clean nuclear energy and can be used to build new Nuclear
power stations and/or repair Nuclear power stations already operational.

SECTION 4: Definitions
Nuclear Energy: the energy released during nuclear fission or fusion, especially
when used to generate electricity.
