Warm up by quick exercise:
Children will jump in their place and counting from 1 to 10 at the same time.
Review the previous letters:
2 minutes
I will turn on alphabetical songs for children. They will sing with the song. This song is containing the
name of the letter, the sound of the letter and one object that start with each letter.
Teaching the sound of the letter L:
I will make a game for children about the letter L. the game is called mystery box. This game is to warm up
3 minutes
children about the letter L. I will provide a box with different materials that start with letter L including
lemon, lion, leopard, leaves, lollipop and light bulb. I will ask children about the name of the object and
the sounds of the first letter. Besides that, I will ask children some questions related to the object for
example, what is cover the lion? Children will participate and respond to the questions by using their
cognitive skills.
Classifying game:
4 minutes
I will illustrate for students a video song about the letter L. This video is encompassing objects that start
with letter L. Children will sing and observe carefully of the letter L objects. Next, I will give children
flashcard. Some card has letter L object that was shown in the video while others not. Children will
engage in the activity by classifying the letter L objects together. This activity is for whole group by
children will apply it independently and individually.

Writing the letter L:
4 minutes
I will teach children how to write the letter L by showing a video that teach the steps of writing the
letter L in both lower and upper case. Children will be engage and participate in writing the letter L in
the board.

Time
25 minutes
L. Once they finish, they will write both of upper and lower case of the letter L on the ladybug.
Evaluation:
5 minutes
I will make a little game for students in order to assess them. The game is about that I will make a
PowerPoint. In the slides, I will put many letters. Children have to clap their hands when they see the
letter L while if they same another letter, they have to freeze.
